Rhodes & Lindos: Private Shore VIP Tour to Ancient Wonders

We had an amazing experience on our five-hour private tour of Rhodes thanks to our guide and driver, Michael. The entire process, starting with the booking, was excellent. Dealing with Nicholas was a pleasure—he was extremely responsive to my emails and made the process very easy. A huge plus was the pickup: our car was literally waiting right outside the ship, directly next to the gangway, which made us feel like VIPs and started the day perfectly. Michael truly made the tour exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating details about life on Rhodes. His fantastic sense of humor kept our family entertained and laughing throughout the entire five hours. Even though we opted not to climb the 292 steps to the Lindos Acropolis, Michael made sure we still get photos of it. He also showed us a couple of truly gorgeous bays and panoramic views. We also had time to walk around Lindos village. We were dropped off at Old Town Rhodes after the tour which gave us ample time to shop around Old Town. Having taken many private tours globally, we were very impressed. Even though Michael served as a “one man team” (both guide and driver), he is simply one of the best we've encountered. We highly recommend both the tour company and Michael!

Gianni was an excellent tour guide. He provided the history of Greece/Rhodes, we went to the Acropolis of Lindos, Acropolis of Rhodes, beautiful beaches including Anthony Quinn Bay. We saw so much in a very short amount of time due to cruise ship time limits.

We had a wonderful day riding in comfort and seeing beautiful Lindos and Rhodes. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history and attentive to our needs. He was on time and brought us back to the ship so that it was stress free. The owner of the company met us in the morning to say hello and thank us for booking the tour. The owner also called toward the end of our tour to make sure that we were happy with the tour.

Thank you Nick for a wonderful few hours touring Rhodes. Our driver George was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Towards the end of our tour George brought us to a lovely local beach where we enjoyed a swim and a fab lunch in his recommended beach resturant.

This tour was excellent ! The booking experience with Nicholas was seamless and very detailed. He was able to tailor the tour to our needs, provided details of the tour and exact instructions as to how everything would work. Our guide was Giannis, who is a very nice person, with a wealth of knowledge about Rhodes and Greece. He made our tour exceptional! We’ll recommend this company to anyone who asks 😉.

Our tour guide Katarina and driver George were exceptional. We chose the 1/2 day private tour with Lindos as a shore excursion from our ship when it docked in Rhodes. The driver and tour guide were waiting for us at the dock when we got off the ship. The four of the Medieval city was beautiful. We enjoyed a visit to a pottery factory and purchased a small piece of pottery as a souvenir. Watching the elderly man work the pottery wheel was amazing. Lindos was a great stop. The views of the Acropolis were fantastic. The weather was extremely warm when we were there so we chose not to hike up to the acropolis. We toured the town of Lindos. And enjoyed our time there. We were brought back to the ship in ample time for some free time and relaxing.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide, Teo, was amazing! He was funny and knowledgeable. It was nice being on a private tour where we could move on when we were done. Rhodes was beautiful!

We were sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy and were looking for a specific combination of sights that just were not available through the cruise line's port adventures. This specific private tour itinerary seemed to hit all the main highlights that we were looking for - with a lot of photo ops. We knew it would be a great day as we met our guide for the day Cristos, and the company owner Nicholas. Cristos is very knowledgeable about local history - and does it in a way that keeps people interested and engaged. There are frequent sightseeing stops on the tour, and the vantage points are impressive. Comfort wise, we were upgraded to a minivan which was more than enough for our party of 3. We really enjoyed the views of the city from a high point, stopping at Anthony Quinn's Bay, a ceramic shop, a viewpoint of Lindos and the Acropolis with some time to spend in Lindos and then slowly coming back to Rhodes where we were given the option to be dropped in the Old Town for sightseeing on our own (and understanding that the Old Town is right next to the ship) I very highly recommend this tour
