Michael was an excellent guide, he had lots of interesting information on the area and the Lord of the Rings film locations. Definitely worth doing.

Amazing trip you get to see areas you wouldn't normally. Our tour guide Phoebe made everyone feel welcome and was very knowledgeable on the film scenes and the history of the area. We would highly recommend these tours.

Amazing experience. Nick was the absolute best!!! He was knowledgeable about all things Queenstown, funny, charming and went above and beyond to make sure our group had a wonderful experience.

A brilliant tour, fab driver in Nicholas who showed us how to ford a river & pan fir hold let alone show us loads of places that were used for the films, totally recommend it even though I holes seemed a little disappointed that he didn’t find gold when he was showing us how to do it

Wow - what a way to see some of the most beautiful parts of NZ. Whether or not a LOTR fan... You will absolutely love and appreciate this tour. Our guide Justin was a superstar... knowledgeable, friendly, funny and an excellent tour guide host (what he doesn't know about the Queenstown and Arrowtown region is not worth knowing). Safe, exciting, and sometimes edge-of-the-seat, with incredible views that always keep the visitor in mind.

This was one of the best tours we've ever been on! Nick was absolutely amazing his knowledge of everything from The Lord of the Rings to the local nature was truly impressive. I'm naturally afraid of heights, but he made me feel safe and comfortable the entire time and that’s not something I say lightly, as I don’t give my trust easily when it comes to heights. I highly recommend this tour during your visit it's a five-star experience.

Had an amazing time on tour with Jenny. It ended up just being me and my friend on the tour which meant for an excellent experience. Jenny was kind, friendly and knowledgeable and passionate about the local area. She gave us insight not only into info about the filming of the LoTR movies but also shared her passion about conservation and the natural state of New Zealand and we got on very well. Her driving skills were brilliant and we had a great time off-roading! The cakes and hot chocolate by the river whilst panning for gold were a added bonus. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely the best thing we’ve done on our NZ trip. Our guide Darryl, what a legend. Born and bred in Queenstown he was very knowledgeable and very interesting. A must do for anyone not just us lord of the rings fans!
