Flew direct to Uluru from the east coast and stepped straight on board the AWD bus with 20 internationals. James our guide was fresh to the Autopia group, but remarkably charismatic, intelligent and entertaining. Importantly; reassuring and capable of leading us into the outback. So much fun to experience the small group personalities reveal and a breathtaking, never- forget red-centre experience for my Daughter and I. Overnight relax in Alice, then a next day flight home. An amazing adventure in the Red Centre. The scenery is jyst spectacular. We camped in dome really unique and private camp sites and the tents with beds were surprisingly comfy. Our guide James was fantastic. We was very knowledgeable and had a real.passion for the country and indigenous culture. He also made everyone feel.very welcome and included. It was good to.have a smaller group and it was a wide range of ages and nationalities. I would highly recommend this tour for people looking for an authentic Outback experience. PS there were a few walks that were a bit challenging for me but James curated alternatives where available.

Such great tour with the absolute GOAT tour guide James, very experienced and friendly. And a friendly and active group that helps create a happy aura when traveling. Would be better if an axe and glove is provided when collecting firewoods for campfire

My dad and I booked a 4 day trip as my 18th birthday present for a trip to Uluru. We had absolutely 0 expectations and had never visited the outback before. James, our tour guide, provided us with safety, quality genuine conversation and some unforgettable memories that we will remember forever. Truly one of the best things I’ve ever done. Cheers James and all the best! Would 100% recommend if you love nature and adventuring!

We had the most amazing experience in the Red Centre. The landscapes are unreal - almost like a film set from Dune. We saw lots of wildlife too, a splendid fairy wren, wedge tailed eagles and herds of wild horses and camels. We were able to get up close to a lot of wildlife, and they seemed quite unbothered by our presence. It was so lovely to hear the birdsong in these sacred places - particularly in the Garden of Eden at King’s Canyon.

Had a great tour with our guide Damian, he knew so much about the area the history and the plant species, I was most impressed.

Excellent introduction to fascinating country. Really appreciated the amount of Aboriginal stories and points of view. Damian was a great driver, guide, cook, story teller, and general factotum. Might just skip the swags on a future trip - the extra for a proper bed is well worth it!

two weeks has passed since we did the 4-Day Uluṟu camping tour adventure. Lorrie was our tour guide. not only we were awed by the spectacular display of natural landscape but we also learned a lot re historical and cultural stories about the region. Lorrie’s story telling entertained us during our long trips from one site to another. Lorrie is incredibly knowledgeable about the cultural practices of the indigenous communities. her leadership and enthusiasm is so engaging. Lorrie is an inspiration. our mixed group made such great connections credit to Lorrie’s’ excellent coordination, doing an extra mile. Lorrie used to wake us up every morning before sunrise by playing 🎶Follow the Sun by Xavier Rudd.🎶 it quickly became the theme song of the group; i still keep playing this song early in the morning. we always end our evenings sitting and chatting around the campfire, such nice ambiance especially so under the starry moonlight night. a chance walking in the dark at dawn looking up the sky with fading stars in deep silence is magical.🌙✨💫 waking up to a stunning sky with red clouds sent me to reflective prayer.🙏 we took this trip to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday. Lorrie had quickly organised a ‘cake and sparkling wine’ as a surprise. wonderful to have the whole group to celebrate with us in the middle of nowhere. overall, it was one fascinating and unique experience that i would recommend to anyone. thank you AutopiaTours. we miss u Lorrie.
