Li River Cruise: Guilin's Breathtaking Karst Journey

Obviously weather dependent. On a clear, sunny day, this trip is stunning. The views are fabulous. Spent the whole trip (excluding lunch !) standing up top taking in every second. All the boats are pretty similiar so don't worry too much about which one you choose. The boat guides tell you of all the importants points of interest.

We only booked the trip one day before. Reply was swift. Driver Peter Yang waited for us in the hotel lobby. He saw my husband had trouble walking as he fell the day before. He immediately arranged a wheelchair. Looked after him the whole trip. Can’t ask for more care and efficiency. Highly recommended. Please thank Peter for everything.

We were collected from our hotel by Jacky who had excellent English and driven (about an hour) to the Li River siding. We quickly found our boat amongst the dozens lined up and proceeded on our four-hour cruise on a 3 star boat. There was no English at all - the life jackets were stowed under your seat. The boat was at capacity but very clean and the lunch box meal was good. The end of trip arrival area was a scramble and we had trouble finding where our meet destination was (Starbucks) as our Aussie phone nav failed us. A quick sms to Charles soon had us on the right road to meet our guide. Jacky took us home via a very pretty bridge then we opted to pay for the 35 (Chinese money) freeway back to Guilin which took an hour. We arrived back at the hotel about 4-5 pm.

Wonderful cruise. The boat was very clean and the seats in vip very comfortable with exclusive access to the front deck. Staff did not speak any English and I didn’t understand why I was offered to order food when I understood lunch was included. It was and I didn’t need to order the fish but it was delicious if expensive.

It was really amazing today. The guide was speaking very good english and was very interested into cultural exchange. He explained us a lot and was very kind. The organisation was perfect. Thank you for the wonderful day! We can recommend him 100%!!

Charles helped arrange a wonderful cruise on the Li River all the way from Guilin to Yangshou. The scenery was amazing and the boat itself was very nice and comfortable. The cruise lasted around 4 hours, and the scenery was breathtaking. I would recommend using Charles to anyone coming to visit Guilin and Yangshou. It is a fantastic and memorable trip to behold!

the tours we booked (Li River Cruise and Longji Terrace ) were simply wonderful, very well organized. Peter was an excellent driver and a very good tour guide . He explained a lot of interesting facts and supported us for everything we needed. Thank you very much .

Wonderful tour, everything was perferct. All Day long tour, pick up at hotel lobby, 4 Hours boat cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo with Stunning views and local fish to taste on the boat. Then, with our guide Silvia ( a fantastic, well prepared, helpfull and nice person) we walked in Yangshuo West st. then we had a 40 minute ride on bamboo raft, and we visited landscape in Yangshuo area. We had really good moments, we could take our time without hurry. I really raccomanded this tour. Nothing to complain.

Beautiful and very well organised trip. There were 11 of us and our Chinese guide - Quiaoli, English name Silvia - was very nice and allowed us to spend a wonderful day. I recommend this tour, very scrupulous Charles and very prepared Quiaoli. Great!

Marvelous day with our guide, Silvia. Everything was like promised (boat, lunch, yangshuo, bridge). Our driver was right on time for pick up. Silvia explained us plenty of information and history. We really enjoyed the organisation of this trip. We recommend it.
