Sello was a fantastic tour guide, easy to contact before and during the trip. He is easy going with a great sense of humour making the group of strangers gel and feel comfortable from the start. Also a very smart man! The caves were exceptionally beautiful, Lesedi village was vibrant and the hands on experiences really made you feel part of the community. The museum was also brilliant with some extra surprises with a water experience of nature

We had the pleasure of having Michael as our driver on our trip to the Sterkfontein Caves and Maropeng Museum, and he truly made the experience memorable. Throughout the journey, Michael shared with us stories about his origins as well as the diverse culture and people of South Africa. His knowledge and warmth gave us a deeper appreciation of the places we visited and the country itself. Michael drove safely and smoothly, and we felt very comfortable the entire way. He was friendly, professional, and attentive to our needs, making sure that my family and I had a wonderful day. Highly recommended for anyone who wants not only a driver, but also a thoughtful companion who adds depth and meaning to the trip. Thank you, Michael!

We had this tour with Sello guide who was an amazing tour, so polite and gentle. It was so good to do this tour with him because we even didn’t notice the time inside the vehicle as the talking was so good!

It was amazing to see in detail all the humankind history, and visiting the caves where the oldest human fossile was found. A must do!

The tour was very nice, the expositions were very interesting and the caves were beautiful, but I'm sure it'd be much cheaper to go without the tour and you'd still get the same experience. The tour guides are excellent and all work for the excavation site. So there's no benefit of taking this tour, our driver just drove. There's no extra guiding or information given. Taking an uber, renting a car, etc. is cheaper.

Sello was driver. Patient, punctual and informative. Hour drive to the sites, but had lot of fun conversation. Caves and Maaropng centre are amazing sites to understand human evolution. Recommend to inquire if solo is available, as I went with othe travellers. Highly recommend day trip from Joburg.

Micheal was a joy to have as a tour guide! My family and I really enjoyed listening to all the knowledge he had to share with us. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area, the caves were absolutely amazing and such a neat and fun experience.

Monday the caves are closed but we went anyway because we wanted to go to the museum and couldn’t go a different day. Our driver, Solly, was very good. He drove safely and provided us with nice information during the trip. The museum alone was worth it to us. But it probably would have been even better with the caves.

Michael our driver was punctual, very friendly and knowledgeable. He got us to our destinations on time. The Caves are amazing but be prepared to swat through some of the entrances. Time in caves was enough and well worth the visit. Picture moments at entrances would have been nice as memorable pieces. Maropeng is more like a exhibition of various different elements. Interesting all the same. Overall good day trip.
