Sri Lanka: Your Transformative 7-Day Island Odyssey

I got in touch with Euro Asia Tours Pvt Ltd (Shiyan Fazool, in particular) after researching for a company that provided a car and driver for private tours. Shiyan was excellent, because he was quick to respond, provided detailed answers to my queries, was flexible and gave reasonable quotations for the cost of the tour. Bandara Nawarathna (Nawa for short) was our driver for the whole trip (2 weeks long). He was driving a well maintained Kia, which suited our purposes well. Nawa is a great driver, very safe, and knowledgeable about Sri Lankan roads and traffic. I felt extremely comfortable when he was driving. He is also very personable, polite and professional. As it was a long road trip, we got to know him really well. He provided lovely company and also ensured we were kept entertained with our favourite music. Throughout the trip he gave us relevant information about the places we were visiting, so he became our tour guide as well, enabling us to understand Sri Lankan customs and culture. I would highly recommend this company and Nawa.

Our driver Nickab (not sure if the spelling) was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He took care of us so well, nothing was too much trouble. We had to change accommodation around and he really helped. He stopped us from being ripped off a couple of times, he recommended places to go, advised us when we needed it and was just an all round lovely man. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. As 3 women travellers, this was so important to us. A great company, taking you to all the key sights and a lovely driver. Communication was great from start to finish and you can tweak your route to your preferences. I would highly recommend.

I got this service referred by a friend who use it a few years ago. The booking was straightforward through WhatsApp, they sent me the service list and price based on my planned itinerary, game me a few recommendations and list of estimated price for each activities around each areas. Once in Sri Lanka we got picked up by Prasad who was our driver for the week. His driving is safe and relaxing, we ended up sleeping often on long trips as he drove. Every day Prasad came to pick us up at our hotels with a clean car, bring us around for all our activities and even recommended ones we didn't know about such as some local restaurants, wood furniture factories, spice farms, gem shops which we initially thought were tourist traps, but after a full week in the country we realized these were at a better quality and cheaper price than what we found later on in reputable malls. Prasad always adjusted to our schedule, never mind the detours and was always smiling. It was a great pleasure to travel with him.

Sujeewa is an outstanding driver. Very professional and cautious but also funny. We felt well takin care of. We saw so much more of Sri Lanka than expected because of him. He is patient and kind. Sujeewa is a wonderful man. Never let him go. He is wonderful. 5 stars for Sujeewa and 5 stars for Sri Lanka. I love it here!!
