Sri Lanka: 9-Day Breathtaking Island & Cultural Odyssey

Wow !! We wanted to do something special for our 50th wedding anniversary and boy was this it!! Sri Lanka really is a wonderful place to visit. There was a genuine “ nothing is too much trouble” feel from the outset All arrangements were by Pavithra.. she couldn’t possibly have been more helpful .. sending an in-depth itinerary proposal with descriptions and pictures of each activity on offer, which we whittled down and added to until we were happy with our nine day guided tour itinerary with beach stays before and after totalling a 16 day trip .. all hotel costs were included in the booking On arrival, our new friend and Guide Dhanuka was an instant hit .. extremely knowledgeable familiar with every inch of the islands history with friends and contacts at each stop reducing wait times and picking the best spots ., and best of all we enjoyed his company and wicked sense of humour Overall comments ., Faultless !!

This was an incredible experience. We had heard Sri Lanka was special but that was an understatement. This place is incredible. You feel safe the people are wonderful and the scenery incredible. So glad we added this to our trip! Our driver/ guide Dhanuka was amazing. Friendly knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. He really made this an exceptional experience.

We had a fantastic visit to beautiful Sri Lanka. During the planning stages our guide Dhanuka was so helpful and answered all my questions. We arrived at the airport late at night to be welcomed by Dhanuka with beautiful flower necklaces. For the next week Dhanuka kept us safe as we toured the country. We tried things we never would have otherwise…water buffalo curd (it was delicious) and asked him a thousand questions. On our last day he gave us each a personalized framed photo collage which was so well done…it will help us cherish our trip. Looking forward to coming back.

We wanted to visit Sri Lanka, we preferred to do it with Hellow Travel, we contacted the office and Mr. Dhanuka helped us in all the steps to plan our trip, everything was perfect, from the beginning when our driver Kasun picked us up, who was polite, a very careful driver, spoke perfect English, explained everything to us on our trip and made everything we wanted happen. Everything was perfect. On our next trip to Sri Lanka we will choose Hellow Travel again.

We had tailor made itinerary including all sights we wanted to visit. The guide/driver was very friendly and profesional. If we wanted to stop somewhere outside the program there was no problem to visit additional towns. We highly recommend Hellow travel for first visit od Sri Lanka.

Dhanuka was such an amazing tour guide, he made our trip so memorable! He was great at spotting the animals on the safari and we got to see leopards, elephants and more! He took us to lion rock and the dambulla temples and knew so much information and all the answers to our questions! The hotels booked were lovely and he stopped along the way for us to try the king coconut along the road. When he dropped us off in Columbo he took us around on a tour and took us to the markets and food spots for us to get dinner before dropping us at the hotel! We had such an amazing trip! Thankyou Dhanuka!!

We had a fantastic time with Dhanuka, nothing was too much trouble for him. He took us to all the places at the best time and always made sure we had plenty of water. He was so knowledgable, super fast at spotting animals on safari. Dhanuka booked fabulous hotels and took us to some lovely eating places too. He made the holiday so memorable, we just wish could have stayed longer.

We booked our honeymoon trip in Sri Lanka with Hellow Travel and it was the best decision we could have made! Our guide was Dhanuka and he made sure we knew all about the history and the information about the places we were visiting and the perfect times to see them, so it really felt like we were in good hands at all times. The transport and the stays went also very smooth and we even got hotel upgrades paying only a small difference, where he made sure we got extra treats. All in all it was a very nice experience and we got to learn so much of Sri Lanka with such a knowledgable guide that made us feel safe and looked after.

I am visiting Sri Lanka for the first time with my nine year old daughter. Mr. Dhanuka Prasad from Hellow Travels left no stone unturned right from its planning till its day to day execution to make the trip picture perfect for the two of us. SriLanka is a beautiful country no doubt but Dhanuka's attention to every little detail made the trip like a "Fairy Tale". Thank you so so much! Will remain ever grateful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Sri Lanka. It was our best decision to handover our itinerary to Hellow travels. From the day I inquired about the trip 3 months prior, planning the itinerary, answering all my questions, changing the iterinery as per my requirement and until the end of our trip Mr Dhanuka has been very supportive and very gentle throughout. He made sure we are well taken care. Our Cheauffer Mr. Chintaka was also supportive and was there for us whenever we needed him. Both were very gentle and changed the iterinery according to our needs. We want to thank Mr Dhanuka for giving us this wonderful experience in Sri Lanka .
