Casablanca to Rabat: Royal City Wonders Unveiled in a Day

We book a day trip with Easy Transfers to Morocco’s capital, Rabat. Our guide was Khaiil, he picked us up in a new and very clean van, which was very comfortable for my family and I. Khaiil did a great job showing us the city. He took us to a few historical sites, one was the Kabah of the Udayas, another was the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed, and the Challah, a medieval fortified Muslim necropolis of Rabat. Afterwards we were given an option on where we would like to go for lunch, and we picked a beautiful seaside restaurant, which I believe was called Marian Bay. Khaiil was a fun and dynamic guide. We would hire him again.

Our bus driver Cali was amazing and our tour Sila was above and beyond knowledgeable about the area. They allowed us ample time to explore and the places they took us were breath taking. Would recommend highly!

The drive from Casablanca to Rabat gave us an appreciation of the contrast between these two important cities and the landscape in between. Our driver was informative and answered all of our questions. He made several stops in Rabat which gave us a chance to experience the key parts of the city. Lunch at a restaurant on the beach was delicious and relaxing.

Guide was knowledgeable and a nice gentleman with lots of interesting facts about Moroccan history. Rabat is a lovely city for a nice day-trip from (somewhat underwhelming) Casablanca.

Rabat is the most beautiful city we have seen in Morocco in the three weeks we've been traveling this country. Both our driver Khalil and guide Sila deserve 10/10. We had no difficulty understanding them. We were well informed not only Rabat's history, but overall information about Morocco and it's traditions, culture and history. We felt the whole day unfolded at a pleasant pace. A bonus was that the vehicle was very comfortable.

This was an okay tour- I give 3 stars because the value is in the guides driving you to Rabat and bringing you to each spot. I’m used to guides taking you to a spot and really educating you and spending more that 10-15 minutes to take photos. While there is more driving around Rabat than actually walking/seeing the city, for the 3 hours we were there, they showed us enough of the city to make us want to go back. Book this tour if you’re very short on time. Otherwise, I’d go a different route so you can really explore the city!

You get a brief and superficial overview of the main sightseeing highlights in Rabat. The tour is ok . Transfer worked well

The boat ride was fantastic and visiting the mausoleum and the castle walls was very impressive. Our guide and driver were first class!

One of the best tours we have ever been on! Our guide Sila Azdine (Dino) - WOW. So energetic, knowledgeable and kind. He taught us so much & made sure we were happy at all times. He introduced us to locals , taught us some native words & allowed us to have the most incredible experience in Morocco. We would do this tour 10x again.

Great day trip to Rabat. Everything was great, tour leaders were friendly, on time and very knowledgeable. Would recommend this trip.
