Ultimate Lake Garda & Verona: Private Day Tour from Milan

Wonderful day tour without any stress !our guide ( Gorgio) was very professional and knowledgeable! Visited many places in a day, which was great!

We went coming from our quiet hotel to go over to Sirmione and see the Scaliger Castle and Maria Callas house. We took our bicycles but you cant take them with once you pass over the peninsula. Then the march began. It was hugely populated by visitors and tough to get through. So we skipped on the castle and started going uphill. You need to be good at foot. A trolley can take you it cost a bit but we took it down later on. Once going up to the Grotte di Catullo it was super crowded. We also passed the entrance. So be on the look out. Its about a 30min. hike uphill. We stayed for a refreshment but for us it was too crowed so we started the descend and finally taking the trolley. The city is as well overcrowded but beautiful. We will try to catch a hopefully slower time of the year next time we go. But the view is terrific and you should go. But be prepared for the crowed.

Private tour for the price of a bus tour. I was quite late in booking a day tour to Verona and the Bus tours were all sold out. luckily I found this Private Tour. Giorgio was our driver/guide. He knows a lot about Verona and Sirmione and had a lot of stories to tell. We saw other group tours being herded to Gulieta's house then diapersed for some free time, but with Giorgio we went on a slow paced walk around the vibrant City of Verona. In Sirmione we had some good Gelato and walked around the city, down to the lake. Started at 9:30am and we were back in the City 8PM.

Loved being picked up and dropped off at our hotel, so convenient. Tour guide was great, funny and knowledgeable- enjoyed Lake Garda, had time for the kids (12 and 10) to swim in the lake which they loved and the water was beautiful and warm even at 9am! Tour guide asked if we could start earlier as it was a Sunday and swapped the itinerary around to ensure we could go all places with less people about, which worked out well for us!!

We enjoyed the day we spent with our driver and the wealth of knowledge he had about Verenna and Kake Garza.

Giorgio was a phenomenal tour guide! He was extremely accommodating of our family’s needs and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. Without him, we would not have been able to find a fraction of the amazing sights he brought us to in Verona and Sirmione. We are very grateful for his time and would be eager to book another tour with Giorgio!
