Unforgettable South Iceland: Glaciers, Waterfalls & Black Sands

It was such a great tour and we saw so much! The whole day was amazing and I’d highly recommend this to anyone coming to Iceland.

Dress appropriately, you get wet! Really enjoyed this tour, got to see some wonderful waterfalls, even one you could walk behind. Got soaked at that one but really at them all. Black sand beach was lovely. Very small eating area though. Food in general was expensive on this tour but not much different to the rest of Iceland.

Barbra our guide was amazing and Robert was an excellent driver. Barbra knew lots of good facts and the when the aurora lights came out Robert and Barbra stopped the bus for everyone to get out and see them in their full force. It truly made our last day in Iceland extra special and I want to make it known they deserve the recognition.

This is an all day excursion, approx 10 hours. Our driver Augustine and tour guide Jessika were wonderful. You make stops along the way for food/restrooms but they are quick so get your food and restroom break done fast, not much time for shopping. Wear water proof clothing for this excursion. It rained all day but even if you have nice weather, you will get wet at the waterfalls, so dress accordingly. If you enjoy sightseeing and enjoy learning about the history of Iceland, this is a must do excursion, Jessika is a wealth of knowledge.

Amazing opportunity to see a huge amount of the big sites in the South of Iceland. Our tour guide Denis was great, very knowledgeable. 4 stars as some stops felt a little rushed.

Sorry, I didn't enjoy this day tour. I felt it was incredibly rushed at all the stops. At the glacier, our guide Dennis (thats right Dennis) started walking before all the passengers were off the bus & it felt like a horrible route march.

A wonderful tour packed with beautiful sites. Tour guide was hysterical with his jokes and very knowledgeable a we passed certain areas giving a history lesson. My favorite was the beach. Even in the rain it was wonderful.

Went on this tour with Bustravel Iceland which takes in the south coast of this beautiful country. Our tour guide Anna was brilliant from start to finish, keeping everybody both entertained and most importantly safe on our 10 hour excursion. We saw some magnificent natural phenomena including Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Solheimajokull glacier and Black Sand Beach finishing off with Skogafoss waterfall. It is hard to describe the natural beauty we experienced so I have uploaded a few photos. Wonderful day and highly recommended.
