We arrived by cruise ship. Our guide was Mark. He did an excellent job communicating before and after we arrived. Meeting him was easy which is not always the case in a cruise ship port. We opted for a private tour as we usually do. I had been in Boston before buy my wife had not so I wanted her to get a good overview of the city and surround areas. The tour Boston Hidden Gems and Mark put together was perfect. We visited Caffe Vittoria, the North End's oldest continually cafe to enjoy a beverage and a pastry and see this amazing old cafe. We then did a walking tour of tne North End that included learning a lot of the history and importance of the neighborhood. We received a history lesson while seeing the places that made history. We visited the Old North Church which has a special place in our nation's history. We also visited the USS Constitution (Old Ironside), the Bunker Hill Monument, Boston Common, the fascinating neighborhoods of Acorn St/Beacon Hill. There was more but you get the idea. Boston Hidden Gems will put together an amazing tour and you will leave Boston knowing far more than you did when you arrived. That wasn't all but what was important to us is the Mark put what we were seeing into perspective. Thank you, Mark.

Great tour! Perfect itinerary & very knowledgeable guide. Appreciated the pick up/drop off and available water in the vehicle (especially on that hot day).

Our tour guide Alexandria was excellent - very knowledgeable and fun. It was a great way for the 4 of us to get a thorough view of the area and its history, especially since we only had a couple days. Thank you Alexandria for an unforgettable experience.

The Boston Hidden Gems Tour was an unforgettable experience! Alexandria was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Boston’s rich history and hidden treasures. She took us to places we’d never have found on our own, sharing fascinating stories behind quirky landmarks, tucked-away alleys, and local art. The tour was well-paced, with a group that included my 65 yr old mom , 2 teens and my wife. Alexandria’s storytelling brought the city to life in a whole new way. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a local, this tour is chill. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a fresh perspective on Boston!

Alexandria was the absolute best! She was so patient and extremely engaging with our two small children, ages 8 and 11. We learned that she was a former teacher and you can tell with the way she conversed with the kids. She’s was so knowledgeable about all things Boston and Cambridge. Next time, we would love to do the Salem day trip and request Alexandria again!
