Breathtaking Java: Borobudur Sunrise, Merapi & Prambanan

Borobudur and Prambanam were beautiful. The guided visit for the Borobudur temple was interesting. Not so sure about the jeep part for the Merapi volcano. Look more like a tourist trap than a tour. Our guide gave us some explanation for the temples. Considering the time we had in Yogyakarta, it's was our best option at the time of booking. Because of the price, I think I would check with my accommodation for the possibility for a personal tour instead. Not bad at all, but quite pricey.

My driver Arma was very friendly. He guided us in some temples, a very good photographer and gave us very interesting information about the culture of Jogjakarta, Java. Thank you, I would recommend it!! The visit in general very complete and the wonderful sunrise!

Absolutely one of the top tours I have taken, anywhere. Extremely organized and responsive, taking the time to understand what we wanted to see and do. Tailored the experience from pickup to drop off. It is an action filled day and communication was superb regarding what each site would have. The temples are spectacular as is Mt Merapi, and having an expert guide like Dani simply made the whole experience even better. Would recommend without reservation.

This trip was great! Our guide, Deny, made the trip fun and informative. We did a lot in one day, but he was flexible and gave us choices so it didn't feel overwhelming. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this tour and Deny to others!

We booked this trip, hoping that we would be lucky to view the sunrise at Borobudur. As there are only 100 people allowed to do this. Happily we were able to go, and it was incredible!! It’s totally worth to wake up early for this. We closed the tour with a breath taking view and breakfast. The jeep tour was a combination of museum, and adventure. We enjoyed driving through the water so much. Very cool. Lastly, we visited the temple Prambanan. Interesting to see all these temples, and knowing about the history. Our taxi driver was so much fun, we enjoyed every single minute with him. He made sure we had the best day. Thank you for the experience Maxi! 🙌🏼

We had an amazing day with Matthias! The day was full of activities and great conversations about culture, history and life in general. You get to see and learn a lot about the region in one day. The day is quite packed but we could do it at our own pace and there is enough time for coffee and lunch breaks as well. We enjoyed it very much from sunrise to sunset.

Well organized, with a very nice driver, Dani, who knew a lot about the history of the temples and all kinds of information about java. Drove very well too.
