If you come to Ulaanbaatar, you should not miss Genghis Khan Statue Complex which is currently the biggest (131ft/40m tall) equestrian statue in the world. It is connected to Ulaanbaatar by a paved road of 34mi/54km. The complex includes a recreation area, restaurants, and souvenir shops occupying the base of the structure. From here, you could use an elevator or walk to the head of the horse through chest and back of the horse neck where you will have a fantastic panorama view over the nearby area.

The Genghis Khan statue is one of the biggest and most impressive monuments in Mongolia. Travelers love going up to the horse’s head for a panoramic view. The museum inside also shares interesting stories about Genghis Khan’s legacy and Mongol warriors. A must-see for those curious about history and strong national symbols.

Nice sightseeing trip concluded with a good lunch. Horrible tech music played in the car and continously changed by guide and driver during the whole trip, spoiled the total experince.

Amazing guide! I saw, learned, experienced so much! Our guide was on time, friendly, so knowledgeable & FUN! Had an amazing lunch in a traditional ger, spontaneous rock climb & an incredible view from the monastery. You’ve MISSED IT if you don’t take THIS tour! I’m ready to go again!

The guide Bachi Nyangar was simply amazing! Extremly knowledgable about the history, sights, great English language skills. The tour was perfectly fitting to the description. Amazing sighting of a buddhist temple in the national park Terelj. The experience was just beyond our expectation! Thank you so much! Highly recommended! A+++++

I got my picture taken with a golden eagle and Mongolian steed just outside, one of the best photos I have! I actually traveled in November 2018!

My tour guide showed up 10 minutes early, and I was surprised to find out I was the only traveler in the group. Aside from being exceptionally safe driving in a comfortable car, the guide spoke excellent English and started off by asking what I needed. He went with me to a bank to exchange money, took me to a supermarket to get cheaper supplies (drinks and snacks) for my day trip, and did everything possible to make my day better. I truly appreciated his firsthand knowledge and tips on what to avoid and what was a good deal.

Visiting the Genghis Khan Statue Complex is definitely a 'must do'. The National Park is also worth a visit as it is close by. About an hour or so out of Ulaanbataar it is a very imposing structure and a great view can be had from the horse's head that is accessed by elevator inside the structure. There is a museum in the base of the structure which is also worth visiting. Would highly recommend visitors do not miss an opportunity to visit. We had a driver so we could stop here and there but a coach would also be fine.

We had a private tour and enjoyed it very much! Our driver/guide told us a lot on the way and tried to answer all of our questions. Unfortunately the roads were not so great, so we had to take a few detours. Our guide/driver took us to the Chinggis Khan monument, the Gorkhi Terelj National Park and the Aryapala Temple. We had a nice lunch in a traditional yurt and we saw yaks, horses, camels, sheep, eagles, goats, and other animals throughout the day. We also saw the turtle rock and other rock formations. All in all a great day out! Thank you :-)
