Breathtaking Azores: Private Sete Cidades & Fire Lake Tour

Cesar was one of the best guides we've ever had!!! He was personable, educational and fun. Our group adored him. He tooks us around the island for 4 days and we had a blast!!!! Highly recommend!

I booked well in advance, first emailing Gary to give him some of our preferences (no need for pineapple tour since we visit family in Hawaii often, etc.). Within 10 minutes I realized our guide Elder (?) didn't see this info. In fact all he'd been given was our names, hotel, and that we'd paid. We were happy with our tour - the Azores are gorgeous and Elder was knowledgable and responsive, a very good guide - but not quite what I'd asked for. Be careful if you're also looking to make a private tour to your wishes.

Wonderful experience and our drivers (Flavio and Leondria) were so informative and accommodating for our large party of 9. The island is full of beauty and the history is beautiful!

Gary took us to so many beautiful sites. We were very impressed with what we could cover in one day. He was knowledgeable and very welcoming. We would highly recommend!

Cesar was the best! He took us everywhere we wanted to go, stayed late to make sure we made it everywhere, and had great conversation with us. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. We would recommend him to anyone and we miss him already!

Cesar took great care of us! He was kind, helpful and informative and went to great lengths to ensure we enjoyed our tour despite our worries about our lost luggage. Constantly checked weather webcams to ensure we had best views. Great locations for breaks and lunch too! He made us forget our worries!

During our week on Sao Miguel we took 2 private tours with Gary and used his company for taxi trips and airport transfers. Gary was an amazing guide, he took us to all of the most beautiful spots on the island and knew when and where to go to avoid crowds. He's very friendly and deeply knowledgeable about the island and its history. Service was great, the car was comfortable. I appreciate that he was able to pick us up from Furnas as most other tours only pick up from Ponta Delgada.

Gary was our host, and he was incredible. He felt like family to us in the way he communicated, laughed, joked, and took pride in showing us his home island. Would 100% recommend!

The views were amazing. We were fortunate to have sun more than half the day in order to see the magnificent crater. Our tour driver, Ceasar was great, personable, knowledgeable and most importantly safe on some of those narrow, steep, windy roads! We even got to visit the waterfalls and some beautiful parks/towns/churches. Highly recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous tour of the gorgeous island! Our terrific guide was a pleasure. He showed us so many wonderful things, and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He made sure to get us back to the ship on time and show us even more than we had hoped to see.
