Journey to Ancient Wonders: Meknes, Volubilis & Moulay Idriss

He knows the perfect time to leave to be at Volubilis on time (when there's less People than usual) ! He took us to visit Meknès, which was really pretty and interesting :) We also visited Holly Moulay Driss : I cannot be smarter than right now. He's full of conversation and very curious, you definetly can't be bored with him !!!

We loved Volubilis especially. The Roman ruins were incredible. Sami made the trip easy and comfortable and took care of all our needs.

Poor time management. No information at all on what to do or see. The trip is just a driver giving no tips on any of the visits. He even took us to a restaurant which was bad quality and expensive. Meknes is an interesting city but the trip devotes too much time to volubillis and by the time you get to Meknes it is almost 15:00 and you are starving

Tras un par de vueltas a la medina, me comunican que los otros tres viajeros habían cancelado por covid y que, si deseo realizar el tour, he de pagar la diferencia respecto al tour privado, unos 32 euros. No hablan español y con dificultad inglés, por lo que resulta complicado explicarles que el planteamiento no tiene sentido, porque me confirmaron el día antes y los demás viajeros, de haber cancelado esa misma mañana, no tendrían derecho a la devolución del dinero, con lo que no hay pérdida. Con tal de no perder la oportunidad de hacer la ruta, negocio otro precio. El responsable contacta con un guía local, ajeno a la empresa, y cierra un precio diferente, con lo que a mitad de trayecto el guía me reclama lo acordado con la empresa. Negociación mediante, finalmente pude difrutar de la ruta, con un guía muy agradable.

Reservamos este tour porque era en español y teníamos miedo de que cogiendo un tour en inglés, pudiéramos perder detalles importantes de las explicaciones. No perdimos ningún detalle ya que, entre otras cosas: - el guía no sabía que había que ver en Meknes, segun él nada era importante. - no sabía detalles acerca de Volubilis aparte de que fuera un asentamiento romano, es más, mi madre le acabó explicando más cosas de la cultura romana. Los dos chicos que vinieron Samy (el chófer) y Zachi (el supuesto guía) fueron muy amables y voluntariosos en todo momento, pero es como si se hubieran despertado esa mañana y decidido que hoy iban a trabajar de guías. Si buscáis un tour profesional, evitad este tour.
