Unearth Ancient Rome in Morocco: Meknes & Volubilis Day Tour

It was a good precessional drive. Hamza was friendly and great to chat to. He was infinitely better at dealing with Moroccan traffic and roads than we would have been the car was clean, comfortable and cool. Would recommend him and use him again.

We had an amazing experience visiting the old roman city in Volubilis and then exploring the Medina and Palace of Meknes

Volubilis is definitely worth seeing. It is much bigger than the photos make it appear. There could be more detailed descriptions about the city, its inhabitants, and life there. A bigger visitors center with a film would help set the context. Meknes' market was in full swing when we went on Sunday. Most of the historical sites were closed for renovations. The whole area of Meknes and Volibilis is very interesting for its Roman, pre-Islamic, Pre-Christian history.

Excellent and kind driver, the places were great! We recommend the archeological site of volubilis in particular, remember to bring a hat with you!

Today we took the tour to the Roman ruins and the city of Meknes . Badr was our driver. He was wonderful for beginning to end. He met us at the hotel lobby on time and walked us to the confortable and spacious van. During the trip to Volubilis he answered all the questions we had about the tour, the city we were going to visit and also about the city of Fes. It showed knowledge and love for his country. When we arrived to Volubilis he explained how to walk and visit the ruins. Later we continued our trip to the city of Meknes where we stopped and Badr gave us a mini tour and showed us the panoramic views of the city. We had free time to visit the market and eat and Badr met us again for our trip back to Fes. I will recommend this trip a million times mostly because of Badr. He was punctual, educated, knowledgeable, flexible and informative. He was a great driver and guide. It was a pleasure to have him as our guide he was easy to talk to and he spoke English very well. Thank you Badr for a great trip!

My driver Kamal was so nice and welcoming. He took the time to explain to me fun facts as he drove me. I felt extremely safe with him and I would 100% recommend. I am a female solo traveller as well!

This 1 day trip with Otman was great. We left at around 9am and did the road safely to Volubilis and Meknes. Otmane is very kind and helpful.

We got so lucky to meet Otman. He not only was our dedicated drived during our stay in Fes and always available for short transfers but also incredibly professional when taking us to Meknes. Zacaria has a spotless comfortable van, was extremely helpful and dedicated to us having a wonderful experience. When back in Marocco we will definitely be hitting them up again for more touring of their beautiful country.
