Tomas (sp?) was a wonderful guide and knew the area well. He took us to a great place for lunch and to a number of Alpine ski facilities, too. Very interesting. Highly recommended.

Brilliant full day tour of Bled and the region. Tour guide …did not catch his name …began with G…rugby player 😃. He was great and we really felt we got to know the country. He took us to see the location of the ski jumping and we saw people practicing …amazing. Lake Bled and the castle were beautiful. Pick was very efficient. Even though it was raining, it was still a great day.

A fabulous trip. We had a magnificent guide who is called Nina. What a wealth of information. She made the entire day so interesting. That’s quite a part from having seen the lake and the castle which were in their own right two highlights.

Nina was a wonderful source of history of the country as well as the areas visited. Covered a lot of territory on our trip.

Our guide, Isador (not sure if I spelled it correctly!) was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. He was very caring about everyone in the group and made sure we had enough time for each site we visited. The last thing you’d want to feel on a tour, is being rushed and we did not get that at all. I def recommend this day tour if you want to see some of the most beautiful parts of Slovenia at a very comfortable pace! Thank you again, Isador!

For Solo trip, nice overview of Lake Bled & parts of the Triglav Park. The small group was perfect. We started directly to Bled Castle, visited Lake Bled and then onto a few lakes and surrounding areas of the Triglav Park. I would have expected more for the price as it is pretty expensive when entrance isn’t included nor is lunch.

Having arrived in Ljubljana the day before and ben blown away by our first impression of the city we were not sure if this prearranged trip was the best way to spend the 2.5 days available. We wrong to doubt. Like Bled and views from the castle were stunning, we did not take the boat to the island but opted to walk part way around the Lake and admire the tranquility and different perspectives of the island. Then onto the National park, with its majestic peaks and bucolic scenery , mountains and tarns. stopping off on the way at an inn for local beer, sausages and sauerkraut It was a full day trip, the van was comfortable and our guide engaging. Would highly recommend

Our tour guide Nina picked us up right at hotel, 6 other persons on tour. Great, large travel van, very comfortable. The entire tour was fantastic.. We started in Kranjska Gora as it was a busy race day there for pony bikes. Added a very interesting element here, beautiful village to see, right on Austrian/Italian borders. Nina did stops at great places for photos, discussions and easy pace. The National Park area and walks were fantastic and highly educational. We spent 4 hours in Lake Bled to end the day, was a really nice day, enjoyed the rowboat ride to island and the historic aspect of these boats.. in use from 1670’s, only existing family descendants are permitted boat permits.. The Lake Bled area was really nice, lots of restaurants and patios , beautiful views of lake.. We really enjoyed the tour and thought it was top notch. Our guide Nina was a perfect guide, ambassador for the tour and country. Really enjoyed the way she handled the whole tour, well done !!!! Book this tour, you won’t be disappointed!!

My husband and I participated in three different small group tours with Slovenia Explorer, and each one was exceptional. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We also appreciated how responsive and professional the business owners were—they answered all our questions quickly and made sure everything ran smoothly.
