1. Totem Bight State Historical Park is a must-visit attraction when in Ketchikan, Alaska. This park is a 33-acre park located just 10 miles north of Ketchikan. The park features several beautifully carved totem poles and a replica of a Native-style clan house. Visitors can see and learn about the totem poles, which are a representation of Native Alaskan culture. There are also hiking trails with stunning views of the ocean and mountains. The park was established in 1938 and later added to the National Register of Historic Places.

2. The park is open year-round from 6 am to 11 pm. The visitors’ center is open from 8 am to 6 pm daily in the summer months only (May 1 to September 30). The park can be contacted at (907) 247-8574.

3. Entrance to the park is free, but donations are always welcome. To get to the park, visitors can take a taxi, rent a car, or take a bus tour from town. The park is located off of North Tongass Highway, and there is plenty of parking available.
