1. Forestal Park, also known as Parque Forestal, is a public park located in Santiago, Chile. It was designed by the French landscape architect Georges Dubois in 1901. The park runs parallel to the Mapocho River and covers an area of 17.9 hectares.
One of the most interesting features of the park is the Mapocho Railway Station, which was built in 1912. The station was designed by the Chilean architect Emilio Jecquier and is now a cultural center that hosts exhibitions, concerts, and other events.
The park also features several sculptures, including the Statue of Salvador Allende, the former president of Chile, and the sculpture of Neptune by the Chilean artist Samuel Román.
2. Forestal Park is open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. The park does not have a dedicated phone number.
3. Entry to Forestal Park is free of charge and there is no need for a ticket. The park is easily accessible by public transportation, with several bus lines and metro stations nearby.
