1. Downtown Container Park is an outdoor shopping and entertainment complex located in downtown Las Vegas. It is made up of a collection of recycled shipping containers, stacked and arranged to create unique retail spaces, dining options, and areas for live entertainment. It was opened in 2013 and is built on a plot of land that was once home to a blighted area of old warehouses and empty lots.
One of the most interesting features of the Container Park is the giant metal praying mantis sculpture that sits at the entrance and shoots flames from its antennae. There is also a treehouse playground for kids, a performance stage, and a large grassy area for events and gatherings.
2. Downtown Container Park is open daily from 10am to 9pm. The phone number is (702) 359-9982.
3. Admission to Downtown Container Park is free, but some events may require a ticket purchase. Transportation options include public buses and taxis, as well as ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft. There is also a parking lot located behind the Container Park that offers free parking for the first hour and a discounted rate after that.
