1. The Tribune Tower is a neo-Gothic high-rise building located in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. It was built in 1925 as the headquarters of the Chicago Tribune newspaper. The tower stands at 463 feet (141 meters) tall with 34 floors. One of the most interesting features of the building is the collection of more than 150 stones from famous sites around the world, including the Taj Mahal, the Great Pyramid, and the Berlin Wall, inlaid into the facade. Visitors can also see the architecturally impressive lobby, which features ornate marble and Art Deco sculptures.
