1. Fisher Towers is a series of towering sandstone formations located near Moab, Utah. The towers have gained fame due to their unique and stunning appearance, which has been used as a backdrop in several films and TV shows. The formations are made up of Red Wing Sandstone and were formed over millions of years due to erosion from wind and water. The tallest of the towers is the King Fisher’s Tower which stands at 900 feet. Many people come to Fisher Towers for rock climbing and exploring, since the area offers many challenging routes for climbers.

2. The Fisher Towers hiking trail is open year-round and is free to access. There is no phone service on the trail, and hikers are encouraged to carry plenty of water and snacks. Visitors can contact the Bureau of Land Management office located in Moab at (435) 259-2100 for more information.

3. There is no entrance fee to access Fisher Towers, but visitors are required to have a parking permit. Permits can be purchased at the trailhead for $5 per vehicle. To get to Fisher Towers, visitors can take State Route 128 (also known as the River Road) east for 21 miles from Moab. The trailhead is located at the end of the road. There is no public transportation available to Fisher Towers, and visitors will need to have their own transportation or hire a tour guide.
