1. Basilica di Santa Francesca Romana, also known as the Church of Santa Maria Nova, is located in the Roman Forum. It was originally built in the 5th century and dedicated to St. Agnes, but later changed its dedication to Saint Frances of Rome. It is a beautiful example of early Christian architecture, featuring a nave with 22 Corinthian columns, a stunning apse, and gorgeous frescoes. One of the most interesting aspects of the church is the use of ancient Roman materials in its construction, including columns and capitals taken from nearby ruins.

2. The Basilica is open to visitors daily from 9 am to 12:30 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. The phone number for inquiries is +39 06 679 1380.

3. Entry to the basilica is free of charge. It can be reached by taking the Metro B line to the Colosseo station or by bus (numbers 81, 85, 87, 160). Paid parking is available nearby, and there are plenty of tourist-friendly shops and restaurants in the area.
