1. The Reunification Palace, also known as the Independence Palace, was the residence of South Vietnam’s President during the Vietnam War. It was the site of the end of the war when a North Vietnamese tank crashed through its gates on April 30th, 1975. The palace has been preserved as a museum and offers visitors a glimpse into the lives and workings of the former South Vietnamese government. It has many interesting attractions such as the War Command Room, the President’s office, and the Communication Room, which still have the original equipment.

3. The entrance fee is VND 40,000 (roughly $1.72 USD) for adults and VND 20,000 (roughly $0.86 USD) for children. There are audio guides available for rent in English, French, Chinese, and Japanese.
