The Great Wall at Huangya Pass was constructed during the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577), and was later restored during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The 2,077-meter-long wall is constructed with granite blocks, and has a unique stairway that is in the shape of a snake. Visitors can also see the \"first piercing of the mountain\" which is a 200-meter-long wall that runs through a mountain pass.
