To reach Casa del Árbol, rent a mountain bike from one of the many shops around town and pedal your way through lush landscapes and over rolling hills, a 30-minute exhilarating ride with spectacular views of the active Tungurahua volcano. Alternatively, hop on a local bus heading towards ‘La Casa del Árbol’ for an easy 45-minute ride.

Perched at an altitude of 2,600 meters, Casa del Árbol is a simple wooden house famed for its iconic swing hanging over a steep slope, with nothing but air and breathtaking panoramic views beneath you. Dubbed ‘The Swing at the End of the World’, it’s a thrill-seeker"s paradise. Swing out into the abyss and feel the rush of adrenaline as you look out over the canyon and the mesmerizing landscapes of Baños.

Don’t forget to explore the small seismic monitoring station located here, originally used to observe Tungurahua’s volcanic activity.
