Sandboarding in the Mogote Dunes in Mexico

Juan Carlos and Estella were a total blast! highly recommend going at the 4:30pm timeslot as you get to watch the sunset in this picturesque setting. Juan Carlos did a fantastic job coaching us up and adapting to each person's skill level. Estella took lots of videos and photos so we didn't have to. The drive was beautiful, the scenery was beautiful, you get a workout in, the people were fun and friendly, there isn't much more you can ask for out of an experience. Thank you Juan Carlos and Estella!

Juan was great, the activity was worth to rent a car to la Paz. Awesome experience and the sunset was spectacular. 100% recommend

Juan Carlos was the best instructor!! ONLY do this with him!!! he was able to watch us and troubleshoot what we were doing wrong to help us get the most out of the experience! he can prepared with cold water and a little snack! this was a great experience in La Paz!

My husband and I had an amazing time. Juan Carlos picked us up from our hotel and we couldn't have asked for a better person to take us on the tour. He was extremely informative and always provided alternatives to make the sand boarding a little easier. The dunes are right by the water. It was beautiful, fun, and tiresome. Would definitely recommend this activity while in La Paz.

Truly an unforgettable experience! We were picked up at 7 am at the meeting point by the Malecon. It was about a 30 minute drive to El Mogote. Juan Carlos had communicated the details of the pickup/itinerary the day before, so everything went smoothly. At the dunes, Juan gave an informative tutorial that really helped as neither of us had any boarding experience. He showed us the 3 different routes and gave us time to practice as much as we wanted. The tour provided the boars, wax, water, beer, and fruit. We were able to do this for 2.5 hours before getting very tired. Overall, this was a great experience and I highly recommend!

Super fun experience! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Snacks and water were provided. We did the 4pm tour and got to sandboard until sunset it was beautiful.

It was so much fun! Juan Carlos explained very well and gave us different levels to practice which really helped a lot. Additionally, he made really cool videos and pictures of us! Definitely want to do it again☺️

Had a blast with Juan Carlos, the tour guide. I was the only one on that date; so I got full attention (or could not escape it ;-) Juan Carlos taught me the basics - Remember to wax on (really!) He did not think it was safe for me to go to the biggest slop - Thanks for saving my life. The only problem was cleaning afterwards because there was sand in every hole, crack and crevasse in my body and every muscle and joint in my body were screaming in pain

We initially had low expectations for this activity, as it was a last-minute booking after our ocean plans were canceled due to bad weather. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how much fun sandboarding turned out to be! Our guide, Juan, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by capturing plenty of great photos and videos of us. The experience was made even better by the stunning sunset we got to witness. And if you’ve ever been traumatized by snowboarding, don’t worry—sandboarding is much easier and far more forgiving. Highly recommend giving it a try!

So much fun for the entire family. We had a great time. They even took pictures and videos, then sent them to us free of charge. They communicated every phase of the trip and made us feel safe. Highly recommended.
