We had the tour with Carlos Moo and Louis Estrella, and they were with very engaging the whole trip. The ride to Tulum was quite pleasant and the time in Tulum was really amazing with awesome views to the coast below the cliffs. They gave us a lot of time to just explore by ourselves, so it was more hands off than other tours I would Say. Carlos gave us some initial points of interest to check out and then we had an hour to see whatever we wanted. The two Cenotes were quite peaceful (One easier and not that deep, the second was underground and quite deep) and the lunch was nice with enough vegetarian options thankfully (not a given unfortunately these days) Lastly we had a good amount of time in the Playa de Carmen Avenue 5 to explore. It was nice way to end the trip. Thanks to both the guides and the driver for this nice day trip, would highly recommend!

We took this tour from the Riviera Maya but the Tulúm ruins are great and the tortuga cenotes are perfect for exploring different kinds within walking distance

We did a half-day Tulum Mayan ruins tour. Booked through Amstar, but Cancun Adventures took us. We had Anna as our guide and Carlos as driver. They were amazing! Anna was SO knowledgeable. She holds two degrees and is working on a Master's as well. She knew so much about the culture and history and was incredibly courteous and considerate to each member of the group. It was a great day and we enjoyed it a lot!

The tour of the Mayan ruins in Tulum was just the right amount of time to explore. Our guide Freddy is THE BEST. He is knowledgeable and professional. And his infamous “whoo woo” call and response, keeps the group together and entertained. They allow you to leave your backpacks and personal items on the bus which is a real plus. Note there is NO PLASTIC allowed in the ruins, so I recommend bringing a Stanley (or similar) water canister if you wish to have water with you. . The driver Juan is excellent - smooth ride, perfect temperature. The Cenote is nice - the water is a little colder than expected, refreshing. BRING WEARABLE WATER SHOES. The bottom is slippery and some of the rocks are sharp. You can buy them there (approx $32USD), but IMO that is expensive. The free buffet was surprisingly good; fried fish, spaghetti, tacos, rice, black beans, salads, veggies, and lemonade and hibiscus juice are gratis. You can also purchase cocktails for an additional costs (approx $12). The only slight complaint was an additional stop at “5th Avenue Shops” in Playa Del Carmen. This was unexpected and added an additional 3hrs to our trip. We did, however have the BEST ICE CREAM & Sorbet at ALDO’s Ice Cream shop. We departed at 7:33am and arrived back close to 8pm. That’s much too long of a day.

This was an amazing experience we got to see the Tulum Ruins. Make sure to bring a hat, umbrella, fan. It gets hot. We went to two Cenotes that were beautiful. We also went to Playa del Carmen. You can eat and shop. Our tour guide Carlos is the best. He is of Mayan origin and knows the culture well. He is funny and friendly. Highly recommended this experience.

Beware when booking this tour because it is not a complete description. There is a stop to Playa del Carmen on the way back to the hotels for about an hour and a half that isn’t listed on the description and you’re stuck doing it because this is a shared tour. Although we enjoyed out visit to playa del Carmen we have to note that it was annoying finding out when we were already on the bus and were no expecting such a long day. They were also late in picking us up with no communication or warning. I also had to reach out to them the day before because we hadn’t received the details 48 hrs prior as stated on the details. The buffet is an additional $19 USD per person and drinks are also an extra charge.

Awesome experience seeing the Mayan ruins at Tulum My tour was a 1-1 with Raphael who had extensive knowledge and experience The electric vehicles were good and the site was outstanding but a shame that they had destroyed so much jungle I don’t understand why they didn’t have solar panels to generate electricity
