Krakow's Must-See: Auschwitz & Salt Mine Dual Journey

A sombre yet insightful experience into one of the world’s tragic histories, the Nazi’s concentration camps of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Auschwitz really is a must see and although at times it can be harrowing and distressing. I’m so glad I witnessed it. The salt mines were a little bland. But the worst part of the day was that no clear pick up point had been given by the coach driver and you exit the salt mines 10 minutes away from where he has parked. Consequently we got lost. He drove off without us taking our passports with him. The tour company were useless and we were effectively stranded in Krakaw with no passports and no clear way of getting back to our hotel. If you do see auschwitz don’t do it with this company!

Well organised, very little queuing, excellent guides, very knowledgeable, and professional, would definitely use for other trips.

The driver who picked us up and took us out for the day was very lovely and informative. The tour guides we had we both were brilliant, really cared about bringing the experiences to life.

Whilst it’s impossible to say you can enjoy all of this experience, because of its nature , at the concentration camps , Mr Shuttle provided an excellent service . Really great guides and driver. Nice packed lunch and a friendly atmosphere. The pick up and drop off was fine . The salt mine is spectacular . As for Auschwitz-Birkenau , only visit (and watch the film on the transport) if you can accept it’s a harrowing experience but one that should be seen and understood.

Very well organized. Kept us informed about where to meet and what to expect. I worried after reading about other people having their trips cancelled from other companies, but had no need to fret.

Messaged thought the app and personally and emailed with time of pick up 24 hrs beforehand. Picked up on time, driver Lucas was lovely and made sure I had a ticket and ID before we set off. Minibus was lovely and comfortable, Lucas was a very safe driver, explained everything that was going to happen and was available for any questions.

This was a challenging experience. The trip was very well organised. The driver Thomas was amazing and the guide Micheal was knowledgeable and respectful. he ensured that all participants behaved in a respectful way. This is a must do trip in terms of understanding the past.

Tour guide was incredible, thoroughly recommend! His English was brilliant, he was funny and informative.

Prior warning should be given to passengers that they will be watching a film on Auchvitz and the content may upset viewers and should be given the choice to listen eg (given headphones). The coach was small for the amount of passengers and felt claustrophobic. The trip was an amazing experience, but felt that the 3 visits in one day was too much..
