Unforgettable Fontainhas: Goa's Vibrant Latin Quarter Walk

I did two tours with Soul Traveling. One at the Fontainhaas with Adolfina and one at the divar island with Atul Kulkarni. Both were extremely informative and done with full heart by each of the ambassadors. Very happy to see something curated so well to see parts of Goa beyond the beaches ! They lived up true to their name. If you are in goa, make sure to try any one, at least one ! Thank you soul traveling!

It was a great experience. Our guide, Mayuresh, was very knowledgeable and told us about the history and culture of the area. He answered all the questions very patiently. It was good to go through that part of Goa and know about the heritage. The walk even included snacks at one of the oldest cafes. Everything was tasty and had some trivia along with it. Colourful houses, cozy cafes and a lot of history behind it all. It was wonderful and picturesque. Would definitely recommend this walk to everyone.

Had a really fun morning! Adolfina has a way of bringing history to life by connecting the dots. She’s a very obviously proud Goan and a popular member of the community. Strongly recommend this experience to contrast with the eat-drink-repeat expectation of every Goan holiday!!

It was a very detailed and fun tour. Everything was covered very well, the houses, the paths, the origins of buildings. Our Latin quarter walk was covered by Swati and Bob and they did a fantastic job in keeping things light and mixing information in it all. We went to a local Goan house, did wine tasting and even to a 95 year old bakery where we had some snacks as part of the tour. If you're someone who enjoys to know the roots of a place, I think you will enjoy it.

The fountainhas experience was excellent, we had fun while having tour. It was an amazing tour. The wine and cafe experience was great.. One should experience it.

Soul Travelings Fontainhas Heritage walk was a time travel through the Latin Quarter of Panjim. Karan was well versed with its history, culture, food, architecture and bygone tidbits. Highly recommended

Our tour guide was a lovely lady named Adolfina. She is very knowledgeable and shared with us many stories. She told us all about Dr Dias, who was a great doctor in Goa, who saved countless people by introducing vaccine. We visited a local bakery , and had samples ...delicious. And a local house, with all the Goan splendor on 180 years. I would recommend this trip to anyone vising Goa. Ask fir Adolfina too !!!
