We were 15 minutes late because our train delated. I sent message to the tour operator, but they couldn't wait for us. The communication was poor, finally we found the tour after halfway through the tour. the city was crowded but the tour guide voice was low, we can barely hear her.

We took a Munich walking tour with Dietmar at the end of September. It was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and made the tour both fun and educational. He provided great restaurant recommendations too! Highly recommend Dietmar and this tour if you are looking for a walking tour of Munich.

A very interesting tour led by a most informative guide in Mark. Got to see and hear stories about the history of Munich and getting to see the Rathaus-Glockenspiel was the highlight.

I undertook the tour to Munich Old Town Walking Tour 21-Oct-25. It was an excellent tour of the Munich old town areas, its key buildings, chapels and other establishments. The noticable aspect was that the old town layout still is not changed from past 2-3 centuries. The way the modern buildings, transportation and other aspects have been built around and within is an interesting point to grasp and think. The thrilling tour with all this pack of information would not have been possible without the organization and detailed explanation by the guide Iain. He is a thorough professional, extremely informed of places around the world. He took great care of us mindful of the on-street safety aspect, given the busy movements. The historical significance was so well explained. Finally the trip culminated at the old market square where he provided us good leads of lunch and other ethnic food joints. Kudos to you Iain. I recommend this tour to all visiting Munich.

Iain’s walking tour of Munich was absolutely fantastic! He’s the perfect guide — experienced, quick-witted, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. From famous landmarks to hidden corners, Iain brought every spot to life with fascinating stories and just the right touch of humor. His enthusiasm was infectious, and his ability to blend historical insight with engaging storytelling made the entire experience exceptional. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning traveler, Iain’s tour is the perfect way to see Munich — informative, entertaining, and thoroughly enjoyable!

Iain did a great job covering many attractions in a short period of time. He focused on the highlights, but also told us what to look for if people came back later to visit the specifics more in depth. He also pointed out restaurants along the way. This is a very efficient way of seeing old town in a short period of time.

A lot of walking but a lot information and beautiful sites! You will see Old Town and enjoy so much history! Guide is a lot of fun too.

Patrick was an absolute gem and even blessed us with his best Tina Turner impression during the tour (key word, “best” :D )! Joking aside, I loved all the hidden gems he pointed out around the city — so much complicated, beautiful history that you’d never know about otherwise. 100/10 would recommend!

Tom was very knowledgeable and humorous but his British English was challenging to understand for the people used to American English.
