NYC's Sacred Ground: 9/11 Memorial Museum Experience
The 9/11 Memorial Museum in Lower Manhattan preserves the history of the attacks on the World Trade Center, and documents the significance of those events through building remnants, personal artifacts, first-person accounts and multimedia displays. With this admission ticket, take a self-guided tour of the museum's memorial exhibition and 3-part historical exhibition, which commemorates the 2,983 people who were killed, honors those who risked their lives to save others, and reflects on the courage and compassion shown in the aftermath.

Such an inspiring and beautiful museum. It’s hard to say something it amazing when it’s such awful circumstances, but it is humbling to see how the world came together.

A respectful memorial created with heart and concern to remember those lost. It could have more to it however even more footage of personal stories taken from the marvellous documentaries made.

If visiting New York this is a must see. Although very sad and emotional it is very well put together telling you the story of that day when the towers got attacked along with video not available anywhere else. Some of the staff are also survivors of the day and heard one telling his story. Allow a minimum of 3 hours to visit

Gut wrenching memories. It’s taken a long time for me to be able to go through and see the images and pieces of that day. Be forewarned, it’s a lot.

We spent hours here - so much to see and read. Suggest you do a guided tour as you'll get a better history of the events. The only part we felt we would miss out is the art and drawing section. Well organised and well taken care of, a lot of respect and understanding has gone into establishing this museum.

This is a must see. It is an emotional museum and done very well. I did opt for the headphone tour and it is well worth the extra fee. The layout is such that you will need to make sure you don't miss things. I saw many large group guided tours, people using the audio tour and people just walking through. My observation is that the people just walking through miss a lot.

Really hits home when you visit this museum. My heart aches for all those effected. NYC are stronger people than they realise

It’s a lot to take in given I was born 8 months and 8 days later it was just sad about what happened and the items in the museum just was wow. Will come back again one day.
