Panama City: Historic Charm & Modern Marvels Bike Ride

The bike tour is the perfect way to discover Panama City’s Old Town. Our guide Stefan was great, he explained a lot about the history and buildings of the city.

Bike ride was probably the best way to see the city. Panama is a diverse, beautiful place and so glad we took this tour. Thank you!

We had an excellent experience with Go Panama Bike Tours and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Panama City. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us a great overview of the city and its history. The tour was the perfect mix of sightseeing and light adventure. We covered a lot of ground and saw major highlights of Panama City, including Casco Viejo and the Cinta Costera. The route felt safe and well planned, and the pace was comfortable for all levels of riders. The bikes were in great condition—easy to ride and well maintained. Our guide made frequent stops to share background on the neighborhoods, architecture, and stories behind the places we visited. It was the ideal introduction to Panama City on our first day. A fantastic way to get oriented, enjoy fresh air, and learn about the city from a local perspective. Highly recommend Go Panama Bike Tours!

We were only 2 people on the tour, it was really nice to have an unexpected private tour. It was a sunny beautiful day so it was a great experience to see the city. Our guide was super nice and patient, answered all our questions and gave us good tips for more things to do in the city. They provide water and rain ponchos but if you don't get a helmet better bring a hat, sunglasses and plenty of sunscreen.

Overall, the bike tour itself was good. Stefan did a great job explaining stops to us and always asked if we needed to stop, etc. (we are in our early 70s). The bikes though were another issue. They need to have step thru bikes for those with limited joint issues (like me). My husband had a regular bike and the only issue was the straight handlebars which makes you have to lean forward to ride. I opted for the tiny ebike which was $15 more. It is NOT made for anyone with any weight (or belly). The design of the bike made it difficult to get on and off. We would recommend though

Jean-Pierre had all the tea! We were a great group of 9 with me being a solo traveler. The bicycles were in good condition and I always felt safe. We learned a lot of interesting facts about the architecture and history of Casco, Panama City and the country. Breath taking scenery for beautiful photos. We had the opportunity to stop for foodstuffs from local vendors as well as additional bottled water. Because our group was flexible, the ur was moved as a relaxing base. If you have an attachment for a your cellphone, bring that as the video opportunity is something to share. This was a fun experience, but it is what you make it.

Would recommend this to anyone visiting. Paola was a fantastic tour guide. Really beautiful views of the city with great commentary on Panama's history.
