Breathtaking Tamar Valley: Exclusive Wine & Culinary Escape

A spectacular day and a fun way to showcase the region to visiting friends. The tour guide took the time to know all the guests and even added an extra stop to accommodate our interests.

Wonderful driver, knowledgeable and very amiable. History and info as we travelled to the wineries. Great service at the wineries, attentive and friendly. Great lunch spot too! Food was great!

Excellent from start to finish - the fourth vineyard was very small but very informative and relaxing. Our driver was very helpful in all ways. The lunch was to die for - we could not get through it all. We were collected from our stay. And the wines were great. Thank you so much.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour at all the wineries which were all a bit different. The food was amazing, the group was fun and Gillian, the tour guide/driver was very helpful. We could not have asked for a better day.

Did this tour so that we could go to the Harvest Markets beforehand. Terry was our host and was most informative and took us a few detours so that we could see a bit more of the Tamar River area. We went to Velo, Loira Vines, Moores Hill and Hinton Bay. Had a lovely lunch at Loira Vines. A very fun day and would highly recommend.

We had a great day out with Tamar Valley Wine Tours. All communication and queries prior to booking were swiftly responded to. Gillian, the driver had a very relaxed, professional demeanor, and was very knowledgeable about the wineries and general area. We enjoyed all the wineries, and were given the option of a gin distillery on the day, which we accepted. That was well worth it. The Gins were lovely. Lunch was a substantial grazing plate on this occasion. Shared with your travel partner. (Single for solo traveler) We bought wines along the way, and had them all shipped home from the last winery which was very convenient. Would recommend this tour. Lovely wineries, comfortable transport, nice way to see some scenery. The price was on par for other good winery tours we have done from Hobart, in SA and NSW.
