Ancient Charms, Modern Wonders: Private Shanghai & Water Town Tour

It was well organised and introduced us to aspects of China old and new, showing both the technological advances and the traditional ways of life. The locals we found friendly and engaging, the younger people especially. The photo opportunities were exceptional and we seen many unusual and memorable sights that we would not without our guide. All six of us agreed that this was an exceptional tour, one of the best and most enjoyable we have been on. Our guide was Jenny, who we found very knowledgeable but also personable, inter- acting with every member of our group and with excellent spoken English. She is quick-witted and understood the nuances of our British and Irish language and humour. She established a great rapport with the lady members of our group and well all thought her an exceptionally talented and friendly guide.

I absolutely loved this tour! Judy was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and she brought the history of the city to life in such an engaging way. She tailored the tour to my interests, answered all my questions, and made sure I got the most out of the experience. She even helped me with shopping and local recommendations, which made the day feel very personal and stress-free. I had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

We had an excellent day out with the charming, efficient Snow, such a kind lady. She has an Incredible depth of knowledge and showed us the stunning highlights of Shanghai and the beautiful water town of Zhujiajiao. What a trip! Shanghai is so impressive with its eclectic mix of old and new. We loved the historical Yu Garden, not to be missed. The trip out to Zhujiajiao was well worth the pleasant hour’s drive as this mini Venice is a treat. Such lovely sights and the food is great. Don’t miss this 5 star trip.

This was an exceptional tour of Shanghai and Zhujiajiao. We enjoyed the private tour and our friendly and safe driver. Most of all we enjoyed meeting Caroline. She’s a very bubbly, smart, funny and very informative tour Guide. Her English is excellent and she provided a lot of of Insights about the culture and history of Shanghai. We would definitely recommend this tour to our friends and families.

Spent a wonderful and relaxing day in Zhujiajiao and Shanghai with Jane. Didn’t notice how the time flew. Highly recommend this program. The most remarkable things to visit in Shanghai, I think. Very comfortable transportation and helpful guide.
