Unforgettable Douro Cruise: UNESCO Views & Lunch from Porto

Great guide (Summy) and driver (Trapper)! Lots of history, humor and singing. The wines and lunch were delicious. Kept us on time and everyone loved the bus ride and tour! Despite the rain.

I had such a fantastic experience with Living Tours on my trip to the Douro Valley! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, comfortable, and full of wonderful moments. Our driver André was incredibly professional and made us feel safe the entire way, even on the winding mountain roads. Our guide Jérémy was absolutely amazing; so knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Portuguese culture. He shared so many interesting facts and stories about the music, wine, history, and architecture of the region, and he did it all with a great sense of humor and warmth. The tour itself was breathtaking; the scenery of the Douro Valley, the vineyards, the river views, and of course the delicious meal ! I learned so much and had a great time meeting other travelers too. I can’t recommend this experience enough. If you’re visiting Porto, definitely take this tour; it’s a day you’ll remember forever. A big thank you to André and Jérémy for making it such a memorable and enjoyable day!

A great experience on very foggy overcast day. The drive on the bus enabled us to see nearby towns and then the emergence of masses of vineyards on every bit if land. Terraced everywhere on the steep hills. Boat trip very relaxed, wonderful views, very good lunch. But, it would have been good to get some commentary on the bus where we were travelling through and to. Commentary on the boat was extremely hard to hear and very brief. The experience passing through the locks was amazing.

It is not guided. There are prerecorded messages about what you are seeing that can only be heard if you are standing outside. Wait staff inside very professional and attentive and friendly. Scenery was beautiful however.

The guide from Sao Bento to Regua was almost invisible. On arrival to Regua she dissapeared and a lot of the travellers did mot know which ship to enter. Rather chaotic situation. The boat trip as such was fine, so was the food and wine onboard.

The trip was well organised, the meal was good and the staff were pleasant. Luckily we were blessed with perfect weather.

Beautifully relaxing trip down the Doura. The staff, boat and meal were excellent. Add the uniqueness of navigating 2 dams to make a very memorable day.

It is a long day. We spent over 7 hours on the boat which was at least 90 minutes too long. The reason is that the boat moves at walking speed. The scenery is spectacular. The quantity of food is very generous, the quality ok.

Well organised. Good lunch. Great informative boat trip along the Duoro. If anything negative I would say reduce the portion size of the lunch there was so much wasted food on every table. And some narrative about the area on the bus trip to Regua would be welcomed
