It is absolutely fantastic. We had a wonderful time. Great way to spend sometime enjoying the view and the vibrant green landscape of Innsbruck. Chilly at the top so bring a light jacket. You will love this adventure with your family

Top of Innsbruck Austria is the most amazing experience!! Conveniently located, easy access from downtown, funicular ride with two cable cars to the top. Breath taking views, hiking, from over 7k feet. You can hike the summit from the last stop. Restaurant located 1/2 way up with amazing food and drinks! We spent 3 hours at the Top of Innsbruck. Amazing!!!

Great experience for the must see attraction and by purchasing Viator you are able to skip the ticket line and go right to the turnstile. Be mindful of timing.

Stunning views and hiking options. Well worth the tickets. The ride is extremely scenic even on a cloudy day.

Despite the high price, and the crowds, this was a great experience. The views from Seegrube were amazing, but the opportunity to go right to the summit of one of the Tirolean Alps, by getting the second cable car up to Hafelekar, was not to be missed. From there, we saw the dramatic mountain landscape all around, and saw far northwards from the Nordkette into Germany, and also further southwards to very high mountains beyond Patscherkofel. The funicular ride was not very pleasant, because they cram a huge number of people into each car. The main cable car was also pretty crowded. The restaurant on Seegrube was noisy – do they have to play music outside? – but it was easy to walk a little way away from it for some peace. So, overall, only four stars, as it was not perfect, but if you get a good day with clear weather, paying for the Top of Innsbruck ticket to go all the way to the top is absolutely essential.

The Inns’bruck unlimited card is anything but unlimited. The Inns’bruck unlimited card will allow you to travel to the ‘Top of Innsbruck’ once and only once even if you purchase a multiple day pass. The limited use is partially explained at purchase but without the critical explanation that it is limited to one day. Even worse, the card will allow you to travel on the funicular up to the final stop Hungerburgbahn, on the second day of a 48hr pass, but not back! The teller claimed on our return (additional €7.20 each) that it was not possible to travel to Hungerburgbahn on our card on our second day. Ho hum, imagine our exasperation. There is no advice on the website nor the leaflet of the restrictions for multi day purchases so please be advised. Despite our disappointment it is good value and gives access to many interesting facilities and places of interest. I thoroughly recommend the Experience Tyrol but be aware it is on the top floor of the Kaufhaus Tyrol shopping centre. Yet again critical information unclear in the leaflet.

Worth every penny! We ended up spending the whole day up there. It was so beautiful and actually had lots to do, which we aren’t expecting.

Few things to learn for others with our visit today. Not knowing anything different we turned up at the box office at 3pm, to go to the top, to be told it was Happy Hour, so 20% off. Bonus! There wasnt too many people waiting for the first leg, which is a fenicular train up to the cable car station. Whether the ' happy hour' affects the crowd numbers I dont know. Yes its peak holiday season. However....we were cattle all afternoon. Once at the the first leg cable car, there was a 30 minute wait in a space with no air flow. But that was mild, the fir cable car holds 95 pax x 80kg each. The gate counts out 95 persons to enter, but a lot over 80kg! The 2nd leg is 70 pax. Thus jammed in worse than sardines, with no air flow ...it was horrific. both up & down. Talk about a germ super spreader! They advertise a cable car every 15 minutes, but we timed it at 30 minutes. The whole operation is obviously understaffed. One staffers serving at the the Top cafe with a 20 minute queue for bottles of water. No one to clear tables outside. At $85 euro ($150 Aust ) this was a huge expensive dissapointment.
