We had a fabulous time with our guide Kana. She was early to arrive and was exactly where she said to be. She looked after us like we were family and was very knowledgeable. My husband and son love cars and I think she also learned all about their cars. The places we went were very. Use because of the holiday so she stood in line while we wandered around and texted us when she was at the front. She is definitely the best tour guide we have ever had. Thank you Brenda Glen and Garret Boyd

Celebrating our brother's 70th birthday, we wanted to experience something unique during our trip and Moka-san arranged an tie-dye experience in Arimatsu with Yuko-san as our guide. Yuko-san met us at the port terminal as we arrived with our cruise ship and when we got to Arimatsu, Moka-san met us there. The town of Arimatsu is worth visiting even when it was raining. Beautiful traditional homes and we spent the morning creating our tie-dye scarfs with the help of a local artist. We had delicious udon lunch while we waited for our scarfs to be washed, dried and ironed. Then we stopped by the museum where we saw a couple of women making creative designs by tying different types of knots. Very very time consuming but beautiful work worth seeing. I highly recommend this experience when you visit Nagoya.

We met with Tomo at our hotel in Nagoya and we couldn’t have been happier! She was so caring and informative! She went out of her way to assist us. My kids aged 3,5 & 6 loved tomo! She took us to Nagoya castle and even though we had arrived later (because we personalised the tour) she was able to organise for us to get photos with a ninja and descendants of the Tokugawa descendants. Tomo showed her knowledge about the Toyota museum and both my husband and father in law were so impressed how much she was able to educate them! Tomo’s kindness was felt by all of us and we wish we booked more tours with her! Until next time Tomo ❤️

The tour is very good. The challenge was our guide was focused with her observations, comments on the couple traveling with us.

Tomo took us to the Kochi Castle where we visited the golden walls of the residence and enjoyed the beautiful cherry trees that surrounded the property. We found the Toyota museum extremely informative in learning about the Toyota family genius. Enjoyed lunch with our very friendly local, Tomo!

Tomoko was a great guide and wonderful host. It felt like being shown around Nagoya by a long time friend. The itinerary was perfectly suited to me and we walked around (bus and train were options but I like walking). We saw the Nagoya Castle and the Palace - we spent the perfect amount of time there. Then lunch on the grounds and a short bus ride to the Toyota Museum of Industry. The museum was very engaging and I learned a lot from the English speaking tour guides there. All around great time that I would not have known about if I had not booked this tour.

We had a great time and enjoyed both the Nagoya Castle and Hommaru Palace, as well as the Toyota museum visit, immensely. Very impressive and very interesting ! Yuko is a fantastic guide and made a big difference: very knowledgeable and attentive - and also very proficient in English and super organized - we had a very safe and smooth experience.
