The tour was excellent. Our tour guide, Scott, was entertaining as well as very informative. He cracked jokes along the way and went to great lengths to include everyone on the tour. Audience participation soon become natural. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dublin

I Loved the Tour in the Rock n roll museum. The Guide Anto was encouraging and gave us a funny and great experience. I also loved the films we were shown and I found out that many artists are actually Irish, which I didn't know before. I got many new songs for my playlists, thank you for the great experience!

This was one of the things I most looked forward to in Dublin, being a big fan of The Cranberries and Sinead O’Connor. Unfortunately the bulk of the tour centred around a few guitars belonging to Rory Gallagher and Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy, and a bit on U2 although other than an old drum kit most of the items were concert ticket stubs and articles which you don’t get a chance to look at up close. Mainly, you sit and listen to someone tell you a bit about the bands (in our case, an enthusiastic young Canadian guy who is in a Thin Lizzy cover band) and then you move to the next thing without much time to look at anything up close on your own. There was nothing covered about The Cranberries and very very little about Sinead O’Connor (one outfit) and nothing about newer bands like Fontaines DC. I’d never even heard of Rory Gallagher and have only ever heard two Thin Lizzy songs. So it was a big disappointment for me overall although our guide was certainly enthusiastic about Thin Lizzy, but his “dude where’s my car” style of delivery and the strange wig he was wearing made it a weird experience. If you’re a big fan of Thin Lizzy then you might enjoy it, but for me, it felt like an old boys club with nothing much to tribute some outstanding Irish women or really anything at all from 1985 - present. It’s unlikely to appeal to most younger people. There also is very little in the shop to buy. My plan while in Dublin was to buy shirts for my teenage kids who love The Cranberries, sadly they only had a few in XL or above sizes and I was told to go to Tower Records (which I did and they had a good selection to be fair.) My friend tagged along and was bored to tears and we’d planned our whole day in Dublin around fitting in this tour. I wish we’d just given it a miss.

The tour was incredible! It really broadened my knowledge of Ireland's contribution to rock and roll music. I was pleasantly surprised to learn some of my favorite artists were from Ireland 🇮🇪.
