Breathtaking Buck Island: Swim w/ Turtles Semi-Private Snorkel

This is an a replacement review as the original was mistitled for the wrong island and they do not allow edits so I had to delete the original. The boat ride was comfortable and enjoyable. We saw many fish snorkeling and saw one of the turtles at the second stop but it was difficult. The second stop is the beach stop where he anchors offshore and you have to swim in if you want to get food or use the beach and since it's beachy and not rocky (read "sandy"), it makes the water not nearly as clear and the turtle was not moving/only lying on the bottom so it was hard to see.

Our captain and crew were fantastic. Made sure we were comfortable, safe and well informed. Would recommend them to anyone. We had our 3year old granddaughter and she had such a good time. Even got to steer the boat!!

My friends and I had an amazing time! Captain Rusty was responsible, personable and knowledgeable and made the whole experience so much fun. We saw sea turtles from about 10 ft away in the beautiful clear water - a magical experience!

We had a fantastic half day snorkeling trip with Captain Rusty! On our first stop, we saw tons of fish and a stingray, with tons of turtles at our stop on Water Island. All in all, it was a great time - very knowledgeable about the reefs and the island. Thanks for making our vacation a little bit better.

Our trip today on the seas the day’s catamaran named Pisces was perfect. Our captain JP and crew Olivia are both fantastic. JP really knows the area and masterfully captains this large 47 foot I believe catamaran. The weather was perfect with calm seas for a half day sail to Buck Island and water Island after that. Olivia always made sure everyone had something to drink and to take care of other little things that we needed. The day couldn’t have been better! I highly recommend this tour company and this captain crew team. We always take at least one snorkeling trip on our vacations and like to choose options that have a catamaran because it’s great to be able to sail with a sails up and not just be on a power boat — laying out in the netting at the front of the boat is the perfect way to start the trip. JP made all of us were safe the whole trip.

Captain JP and first mate Olivia were the best thing on our whole trip. Not only did they tell us about the history of every spot we went to they were very attentive to everything. From safety to fun, if we needed help with snorkel gear or beers they would help. I couldn’t ask for a better crew. The only thing I could wish for was this 4 hour trip to be longer because they made it so special. Thank you!!

Captain Rusty was awesome. He got us to the destination early, check in was smooth, he pointed out all the best places to swim and we saw plenty of marine life. I would definitely recommend for a fun day.

Captain Rusty and the boat were awesome. We felt safe and had a great experience. Only seven of us were on board. Would go again today if given the opportunity.
