Bratislava Bites: Unforgettable 4-Hour Culinary Quest

We had a wonderful day with Paula on our food tour. We were the only attendees and were grateful the tour was not cancelled and it became a private tour. We were able to get to know her and find out about life in Bratislava as well as the delicious food.

We had a great afternoon enjoying excellent food and drinks. Paula our guide, was very knowledgeable and explained our dishes' content as well as their respective places in Slovakian culture. I think this tour is a "must" when in Bratislava.

My husband and I and my cousin and her husband took this tour with Jakub who was fantastic, very knowledgeable and personable. We loved this opportunity to taste various local specialties and this tour was one of our favorite things we did in Bratislava.

If I could give this tour more stars I would. Our tour guide was Jakub Slamka. His knowledge of Bratislava, Slovakia as a whole, and the traditions and history was truly impressive. He provided a wealth of information and fun anecdotes along the walk to restaurants. The food and restaurants were thoughtfully chosen and delicious. I feel like I learned so much. I am excited to return to Bratislava. I would recommend doing this tour day one of your trip to Bratislava to give you an overall knowledge of the area and Jakub sent a follow up email with suggestions of other things to visit. I will recommend this to anyone visiting in the future.

We booked the tour for 20 people and it was really nice and enjoyable. Jakob took us to four restaurants, explained traditions to us, and showed us important spots in the old town. All in all, it was a nice, entertaining day. The duration of about four hours was also appropriate and worked well. A varied tour for anyone who wants to sample the culinary delights of Bratislava.

The tour was great and our guide Jacob was amazing. He was knowledgeable and friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. The pace of the tour was perfect. Just when I thought I couldn’t eat anymore we had a longer walk to the next place with sightseeing that helped us digest before our next food. The food was great and we had more than enough to keep us full most of the day. Great tour and highly recommend!

This tour was really very good. We tasted different Slovak foods, wines and desserts. Aside from food, we also learned about the country history and their traditions and the connections with the food we had. But let me tell you about our tour guide. His name is Jakub. He was amazing, phenomenal. Such a young kid with so much talent was a pleasant surprise. He was a gentleman, very professional and polite. He treated us with a surprise at the beginning of the tour and at the end. Don’t be afraid to ask for him.

The tour was really very good. It was well paced, we explored different Slovak foods and we stopped at local restaurants you would not have stopped on your own. Aside from food we also had the opportunity to learn about the history of the country. But, let me talk about our tour guide. His name is Jakub. He was simply amazing, phenomenal. He is such a young kid you would not expect to be that good. He was a gentleman, he was very respectful, he was so polite, proper and so on. He showed patience and he shared so many relevant stories about his country, his family and the country traditions among other things. He showed interest in our background and learned a few things about where we were coming from. He welcomed us with a treat and said goodbye with another treat. If you book this tour, ask for Jakub. You will not be disappointed at all.
