This was a unique experience and we totally enjoyed ourselves and learned so much about something we had no knowledge of

We were given the history of the salt pans, then taken for tastings and tour. The guide was very good with excellent English language skills. These salt pans are the furthest from Trapani so no problem if you have a car, it cost us €30 each way in a taxi. There are salt pans closer to the city. It would have been wonderful to visit at sunset

We learned so much about salt production and how the business has thrived over many generations. Tour guides were excellent.

We enjoyed the salt pan tour, our guide was enthusiastic and interesting! My one complaint is that we did not realize it was a 15 minute drive from downtown Trapani. We paid an additional €60 round-trip to get back-and-forth to the salt pans.

Very interesting & informative. Excellent guides & helpful to change tours when we booked in Italian guide language by mistake.

Really interesting guided tour of the museum and salt pans along with a small tasting. The guides were very knowledgeable and explained everything well.

We really enjoyed learning about the salt making process and found our guide to be very informed and friendly. Very good value for what you get and a nice break from beach activities.

Great little place! We learned so much about harvesting salt. The tour guide was very informative and showed us all the traditional tools of the trade. We also enjoyed walking around the salt flats. Great views!

Really interesting few hours learning about the history of salt production, its connection to wealth, and sustainability. This location is family owned and run and if you time it right, you can still catch the family producing salt in August and September. Tours are available in multiple languages, Sara was knowledgeable and friendly (and even pointed us to a few great restaurants for our visit).
