Our family of 3 had Michal all to ourselves. I was nervous about how difficult the hike would be in December but the weather was perfect and although not cheap, so worth it! The views were breathtaking. Michal was a perfect tour guide with a lot of knowledge and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Since we went on a Thursday, we had the Pravcicka Gate all to ourselves. It is closed to everyone else in the winter. The lunch was delicious and authentic. We had the goulash, pork steak and chicken. Our favorite was the chicken. Attaching some photos of the terrain so you can see how doable it is. It would have been helpful if we were notified a couple of days or day before about our trip. I contacted them the night before at 8 pm to get the information.

Mirek our guide for the tour was amazing, he was so accommodating, kind and knowledgeable with all the history of the places we went and everything else. The tour itself was great as well, we got to explore beautiful places and the food for our lunch was delicious. The atmosphere of this tour and group was a 10 out of 10!

Had a wonderful time. Mirek was fantastic! He allowed us adequate time at our stops and shared so much information with us. Lunch spot was cozy and delicious. Highly recommend!

Wow! No only were the natural sites and hikes in the tour breathtaking and incredible, but I cannot commend Bohemian Adventures enough for such a well-run tour. The communication before and during the tour was outstanding, and our guide Mirek was incredibly kind and throughly explained each stop. He was really looking after us. I highly recommend booking a tour with this company, we have already booked our next one!

I highly recommend this this day trip . Ondrej was a fantastic guide and made it a fun day. He shared a lot of historical information about the sites we visited but also gave us plenty of time to explore the Christmas markets in our own. He was great at making accommodations for my mobility scooter & ensuring I was able to get around. Thank you Ondrej!!

we had a fantastic trip with vladimir , he was very knowledgeable and took the tour at a good pace for everyone. the trip had lots of different aspects and the views were magnificent. the walking was just perfect

I had a great day with Filip! Unfortunately we had a lot of fog but we made the most out of it and had a lot of fun. The group is small so very enjoyable.

The pickup from Prague was smooth and very convenient, making the whole day feel relaxed from the start. The hikes were easy and enjoyable, and the experience was made extra special by a unique night walk with flashlights. Lunch at a local restaurant was very good and well-timed. Special thanks to Filip, our guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and bringing great energy throughout the day. Highly recommended.

- For the Pravcicka Gate option, you need to be able to walk at least 5 km (3 miles) with an elevation gain of about 250 m (820 ft) over uneven terrain and some steps. This hike is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or health issues.

Greetings from Bohemian Switzerland national park, and the Bohemia Adventures team. Thank you for your reservation. Our professional guide will meet you between 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. in front of your accommodation at your Prague address. The return time is usually between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. but it may vary depending on the pace of the group, etc. One day before the tour we will email you an exact pickup time along with the weather forecast. Please, do not forget to take your passport (ID) with you as the trip to Germany is part of the tour. As you have booked a hiking option, we recommend wearing hiking boots or sports shoes suitable for uneven surfaces. An à la carte lunch and a snack pack with water are already included in your tour. If you have any dietary preferences such as vegetarian, or vegan meals, please let us know. You need no special equipment for the tour, only clothes comfortable for movement outdoors and a daypack may come in handy. We provide free walking poles, raincoats, etc for you to borrow. If you choose the EASY OPTION, instead of the hike to the Pravcicka Gate, you will have extra time for self-guided exploration of the picturesque village of Hrensko (the center of the national park). It is necessary to remember that steep stairs are located at several parts of the trail on the way to reach the boat ride and the same on the way back. Therefore we do not recommend taking this tour in case you are healing from any injuries with your ankle, leg, knee, etc. Please let us know if you have any concerns regarding this. Our guide can advise you during the drive to the national park to decide whether the Boat ride or the Pravcicka gate hike (longer in distance but not so steep) is better for you. Besides the aforementioned stairs, the rest of the tour around Bastei Bridge goes along rather flat and very well-maintained trails, and they're easy to walk on. Enjoy your tour!
