Egypt White Desert: 2-Day Oasis Stargazing & Surreal Beauty

Wow what can I say, mesmerising! Tamer is the dude of dudes and a perfect gentleman. He made us feel safe at all times and was a delight to be around and share the desert experience with. He organised pick-up and drop-off our hotel in Giza. The whole over trip was an adventure way beyond our expectations including dune sand boarding. Tamer and his colleagues cooked up the most beautiful evening meal and gave us the best mint tea I have ever had. He was happy to tailor the trip so we were back in Giza for around 1pm the next day as had museum plans (GEM). Thank you Tamer. An unforgettable overnight sleep in the desert. One we will never forget and your Egyptian hospitality was out of this world xx

It was an amazing trip. The guides were super nice (even though they don't speak English, we could communicate with them and we even played cards with them ahah) and we did many activities, such as sandboard and fire by the night. The sky and the meals were incredible. We really recommend this tour.

Tamer is a really nice guy! Good driver, good cooker and good guide. I'll always miss the soup he made us in the white desert, the incomparable taste！

Amazing experience! They will have transportation provided in a decent sized AC car. The driver was very polite and it was a very smooth ride. Our tour guide also brought us to all the places we wanted to visit and cooked a great meal for us. The best part was that we also got to go sandboarding! Overall great experience and it was a really good price as well. The owner is very responsive with questions and issues which made the experience great.

You know it. I know it. You are tired of your office job. BOOK THIS TOUR! 1. Tamar is an absolute legend and won’t push or haggle like in Cairo. You will be in good hands. 2. The white desert is breathtaking, you have never seen anything like it. Definitely worth a visit if you have some time in Cairo. 3. Food is surprisingly great. All homemade and fresh. Having dinner under the stars in an alien world!

Tamer was great from start to finish. Very responsive by whatsapp leading up to the tour and very clear communication with photos to identify the car that would pick us up. He clearly loves the desert and helped us to do the same. We had a lot of fun. The only thing I would say, since we did it as a single overnight, is that you should go for a couple of days minimum. The drive each way is 4.5 hours, too long for an overnight. If you have the time though, take a few days and enjoy this experience.

Honestly, just wow! This tour includes some of the most beautiful locations I've had the privilege of seeing in my life. The Black Desert has a huge, awe inspiring scale and the White Desert.. I'm lost for words. So beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. This toue is a must visit for anyone who loves nature and history. Booking with Tamer is also a must!
