Salar de Uyuni: Epic Photo & Sunset Salt Flats Day Tour

This was probably the most outstanding, unbelievable, incredible experience my partner and I have ever experienced. The landscape and views were like no other. It felt like we were at the edge of the world. Our trip felt so smooth from the beginning with Diego Arrieta setting us up with our chauffeur and trip within 30 minutes of arriving in Uyuni. We were going the skip the trip as we had a late bus to catch, but Diego reassured us that they would get us back on time, which we did, and we are forever grateful. We had the best guide in the world, Rober, who took outstanding photos, video, provided us with wine, a safe and smooth ride, and just a wonderful picture perfect experience overall. We had a fabulous day with Marco and the team. Marco explained exactly where we were going, and what we were going to do. We paid extra for an English tour guide. The day was full of stops to explore, learn and look, refreshment breaks and photo shoots. The sunset was incredible. The food was ample and tasty (we are vegetarians). The day was fun, really memorable and good value for money. Highly recommend this tour!

The company itself handled things okay, however the guide assigned to us was terrible. Nelson Cinco was his name and if they try to assign him to you simply refuse. Like to drive around for long periods accomplishing nothing, more interested in his music than his clients. Takes terrible photos, we had a private tour and he simply followed the pack wherever they went. We saw other guides from the same company being much more involved. Avoid him at all costs!!

it was MAGICAL.. our tour guide was the best. he took great care of us, we got to see the sunset, and i recommend Salty Desert 100%. good price, best tour guides and very punctual.. this is one of those experiences that you will never forget. we were a party of seven people and each one of us concurred that this is one of the highlights of our 16 days trip

We had a wonderful experience.Our driver took time to explain the area and attractions along the way even though he spoke very little English.He also took very good pictures and videos.We highly recommended the tour company.

Everything was incredible, but I would highlight crossing the salt flat, the good group lunch (there was a special dish for this vegan!), the fun photos and videos in perspective, and the incredible sunset with wine at the end! Everything was so cool, certainly, not only because of the great group we had, but because of the attention, information, care and sense of humor of our guide Ronal. Gracias, Ronal! A memorable tour!!
