Wayne Newton: Mr. Las Vegas – An Exclusive Flamingo Experience

This was like having Wayne Newton in your living room. He sang, he joked, we watched a couple of videos, he played a few instruments and we had some laughs. An excellent show and I would highly recommend his show.

Not only is it Wayne Newton singing, he shares clips of many singers he performed with. He played numerous instruments as well.

Wayne was incredible! Super welcoming, wonderful stage presence, grateful, and genuine! He interacted with the audience and told stories about his legendary life and all the people he met along the way. He shared rare clips of performances from early in his career. He made my night and I was in awe the entire time. His dancing was so much fun too. I highly recommend coming to see this awesome icon! 🤩❤️

Wayne Newton represents everything Las Vegas was and should be again. "Legend" isn't a term that should be thrown around lightly, but in Wayne Newton's case there is no more fitting term. We had such a tremendous time at Wayne's show. You can tell how much this man loves to perform - the smiles, the laughs, the passion, the voice, the stories, etc. You forget what a child prodigy he really was, not just as a singer, but playing 12 or 13 different instruments with great virtuosity. ALL of which he displayed during our November 2025 show. Dressed in his signature black tux, not a hair out of place, gold mic in hand...I mean, c'mon! Pure old school class the way it should be. And the stories! From Glen Campbell to Bobby Darrin to Jack Benny, to the Rat Pack to Vegas Vacation and Ferris Bueller, he's a wonderful funny and charming storyteller. This show was everything I hoped and wanted it to be and more. I am so thrilled we saw Mr. Las Vegas in person, and we'll definitely be back on our next trip.

It was a wonderful experience his performance and his age is still just as good as it used to be. Worth the money!!

Wayne Newton’s show “Wayne: Up Close And Personal” is a fun, nostalgic, touching retrospective of the amazing career of “Mr. Las Vegas.” On a recent Monday night, the showroom at the Flamingo was nearly packed — probably close to 200 in the audience. At 83 years old, Wayne Newton’s voice obviously isn’t what it was in his prime. But his skills on the guitar, steel guitar and violin are incredibly sharp. (He plays 13 instruments all by ear.) The show is a mix of Wayne singing, fun personal stories of his career and famous friends and video clips of days gone by. Fun facts: Newton has released a whopping 165 albums and started performing at the Fremont Hotel at age 15 — six shows a night, six nights a week! He has performed live for 400 million people! Even for those who aren’t big Newton fans, the show is a fun, funny, heartwarming tribute to a true living legend.

Out of everything we did this week in Vegas, this was our favorite. What an amazing show that really captured our hearts. First of all, Wayne is such a genuine, kind person whom you can tell absolutely loves what he does and loves his fans. Given the years he has performed and with whom and how talented he is, he is also so humble. He put on a show that went beyond the 90 minutes with the energy of someone in their 20's. He played a few of the many instruments he has mastered and it was spectacular to watch. The stories he told were so interesting, we could have listened to them all night long. We've been to Vegas many times and have seen a lot of great shows and this was one of our all-time favorites. It well exceeded our expectations.

Absolutely one of the very best shows I have ever seen in Las Vegas or anywhere else for that matter. Wayne Newton is an absolutely unique and talented performer in this entire country. His talent is amazingly varied (he sings, is a comedian and even taught himself to play 13 different musical instruments...he played 6 of them during the performance). His life and life experiences are varied, extremely interesting and entertaining. An investment in seeing this show will be pay you great dividends!!!

The show was delightful. Wayne was charming and amazingly talented. There was laughter and tears, and everyone had a really good time.
