Desert Magic: Sonoran Sunrise/Sunset Guided Hike

I had an amazing hike with Doug as my guide. I assumed I’d be put with a group since I was a solo traveler, but I got a private hike. Doug is a VERY accomplished hiker/climbing instructor so I felt safe at all times. We had great conversations as we sat at the summit and watched the sun set. I highly recommend this hike if you want to get some exercise and be rewarded with amazing views.

Our guide Henry was great! Had backpacks and waters for us. Was very knowledgeable about desert plant life, etc. would recommend.

My husband and I were visiting from out-of-state and greatly enjoyed our hike with Jay and James. They reached out ahead of our visit with directions and greeted us upon arrival. The guides were very knowledgeable about the native plants and their properties. Additionally, they offered to take photos throughout the trip and gave us a few snacks. Our hike was on Valentine’s Day so it was extra special. I’m glad we did it and would recommend to other visitors. They also offered us trekking poles and headlights to ensure a safe hike.

Dialinda was an amazing guide! She is a wealth of information about the area and a really cool person. We learned so much on our hike. It was cloudy the day we hiked but we had a great time seeing lots of interesting things (cactus, quartz, bird nests and amazing views). When we reached the peak, the sun broke through the clouds for a spectacular sunset that she captured so beautifully on camera for us while we enjoyed being in the moment. It was the perfect way to start our desert vacation! 10/10 recommend hiking with Dialinda!!

Amazing hike. They really do provide everything you need. We just showed up reasonably dressed. Guide was Curtis, an expert hiker, very attentive but also kept us on schedule. Curtis is very intentional about the photos he takes of us, knowing all the best spots to get the shot, knows all the best angles. His photos are better than ours. Sunset hike is well worth it. 10/10 highly recommend.

Steve took us on a sunset hike in Phoenix, Arizona, and it truly exceeded our expectations. He provided everything we needed, including hiking backpacks, water, and headlamps, which made the experience feel easy and stress-free. He was extremely knowledgeable about the environment, local wildlife, and Arizona history, and shared so many interesting insights along the way. On top of that, he offered great recommendations for things to do and places to eat while we were in town. Steve was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what he does. This hike was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would highly recommend booking a tour with him!

Jason was great! He provided head lamps, a backpack, water and a snack to anyone that needed them. He was super knowledgeable and told us all about the plants and wildlife in the area. He didn’t rush and allowed everyone to move at their own pace. He also offered everyone ice cold flavored sparkling waters at the top of the mountain which i thought was a nice touch. Super fun hike 10/10 would hike with Jason again!
