This trip is an absolute must do! The drive to Puebla is scenic with amazing views of volcanoes. The cathedral at the mountain top provides beautiful panoramic views of the whole town. The climb is short but slightly steep, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated( it was a hot afternoon) but totally worth it! It turned out to be the most beautiful church in my whole Mexico City trip. The drive to local Market (El Parian) is about an hour after the church. The market is stunning and provides beautiful opportunities for photographers! The walking tour after lunch was great and we walked through some beautiful lanes while soaking in all the history behind those beautiful colorful buildings. I felt this town requires much more than just a day trip. To fully enjoy Puebla - one definitely needs at least 2 days (or more!). But this tour gave a beautiful glimpse of what the town is all about. There is a lot of walking so come prepared - I travelled with a 7 year old and walked about 19k steps this day, so this tour can get really tiring! Our tour guide - Omar Enriquez was wonderful! He is knowledgeable and friendly and paced the trip beautifully. He provided wonderful insights of all the spots and giving a good amount of information on each. My only suggestion to the tour company is to set the volume a bit higher on the earpieces so we can hear better. As we are walking through a busy street, sometimes listening in became a challenge due to traffic and city noise. All in all a day well spent! Tiring but worth it!

Alex y Rafa fueron increíble! It was a busy day traveling. Very interesting to see the towns and the churches. Also, was able to get recommendations of local things to see during our free time. I really appreciate the information to go see San Aparicio. Thank you!

Alexis is probably the most knowledgeable tour guide ever. I highly recommend this tour for family and solo. Hopefully, you get him. 10/10

Omar was excellent as our guide. Extremely organized and we knew exactly where to be when. Stops were excellent. Have to come back to Puebla....we got just a taste of the city though what we saw was so interesting. I learned a lot about Mexican history at all our stops! Thank you!

This was a great daytrip to visit some nearby places outside of Mexico City, but with the benefit of having all the details taken care of. Transfers were smooth, our guide Alvaro (I think that was his name!) & our driver, Israel, were both great & very knowledgable, also ensuring to keep us all entertained along the way as well! The wait time for the bus in Puebla city was a little long, however the city admittedly was rather busy.

Amigo Tours has to change the food spot. I had a horrible experience with the place they had arranged. First the fish came under cooked and when I informed they redid and gave me a burnt fish which is awful.I had to complain again and they brought me the 3rd time.Amigo tours skipped many lunch spots and took to area where there were no other options late in day.Instead they can finish lunch and take for walk around. This trip has lot of walking uphill and crossing roads.Plan and prepare with walking shoes. Tour guide and drive was ok.Its 2-3 hours drive each way.

This day trip to Puebla offered an efficient and comprehensive way to visit multiple significant Catholic historic sites in the region. The Amigo Tour company expertly managed the transportation and local logistics, which is crucial for covering this many locations in a single day. My only critique relates to the guiding style: the explanations were predominantly a secular tour, focusing mainly on architecture and basic facts. The experience would be significantly enhanced if the guide were trained to provide a more thorough Historical/Cultural Interpretation of the sites' importance beyond their religious function. The tour was effectively conducted in both Spanish and English.

Very good ,Alex the guide was great. The pyramid was different and exotic not like all the others. The walk around Pueblo was interesting but don’t miss the cathedral. It’s wonderful and the best cathedral I’ve been to in the americas and frankly rivals if not surpasses the many I’ve been to in Europe. I was the only one in my group to sign up for lunch. The others made a mistake. The mole sauce was exceptional.

What a great day! Our trip to Puebla was amazing! We not only learned about Mexican history, but also enjoyed Alvaro’s fun way of delivering it. Alvaro and our driver Isra were extremely kind and attentive. Recommend this!

The tour planned to leave at 8:10 and ended departing at 8:25. Overall it was a great short one-day trip - walking up the Cholula pyramid church, Tonantzintla templo and walking around Centro Puebla Lunch took about 1hr15min. Would prefer to shorten down to 45 min or so and give more time to explore downtown Puebla. Also would recommend to offer some kind of electronic map as a tour guide.
