A really good intro to Beijing food for our family of 5. The guide was excellent and the group size was appropriate making logistics and questions easy. It was well organised so we skipped quickly between places. There was a lot of food, but not too much. We all had our favourites - but Beijing noodles probably just about came out on top.

Our guide was Yoyo who was absolutely brilliant. An absolute delight and helped to create a really fun evening. A brilliant group who were all so friendly and the venues we visited were brilliant. A really unique experience tasting some fantastic authentic Chinese food in 4 different restaurants with some fantastic information from Yoyo. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We had a great food tour with Yoyo! She was very kind, knowledgeable, and shared so many interesting details about the local food. We learned a lot. The dishes were delicious, and we visited hidden spots we’d never have found on our own. On our way back, her colleague Janice kindly helped us with a metro issue, everything went smoothly after that. Highly recommend this tour!

Tony was the best guide!!! He was so outgoing and knowledgeable. The food places he took us to were very yummy and he has at least one fun fact about every place we went

Definitely worth joining if you're clueless about where to find authentic food in Beijing. Our tour guide Uyi was very helpful in explaining etiquette when it came to approaching the food. Plus, when you're out eating with other foreigners, you'll feel more at ease if you happen to be lacking in the chopsticks department ;)

We had a fantastic experience on our food tour through the Hutongs with Grace as our guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly attentive to everyone in the group. I am traveling with my father, who wanted to practice his Mandarin, and Grace did a wonderful job engaging with him while still being fully present and responsive to the rest of us. She answered all of our questions, and she made sure to tailor the experience to the interests of each guest. The places she took us to were tucked-away gems—spots we never would have discovered on our own. The food was delicious and varied. Grace’s warmth and professionalism really elevated the whole tour. It was not just a great way to explore local food, but also a memorable cultural experience. Highly recommend!
