If you're new to Gozo this trip does take you round and about, giving you a taster of the island. There was no commentary in September 2025, nor did the ear phone things work. A complete waste of money, you would do far better to hire a taxi and ask the driver to take you on a day trip round the island. Or go by public transport.

This journey provides an excellent way to see the many different towns and landscapes around Gozo. Victoria is worth a separate visit on its own to allow more time to explore other stops on the route. Only disappointment was that the route did not include Marsalforn, even though the website showed it was a stop.

We went on the north and south city sightseeing of Malta. We went to the north first. It is not clear on the route on the website. I thought that the bus went from a stop and went to every stop but it does not unless you travel from the beginning. We went to San Anton gardens but we were not told if there was a restaurant and if so how do we find it. We managed to find a outside kiosk serving food and drinks. The bus did not stop directly outside the gardens so we had to find them ourselves. I wanted to go to where they filmed Games of thrones but we were not told about that on the bus commentary. We did not have long at the gardens so we felt rushed. We then got on the bus and went to Mdina. I have not been to Mdina for years. There are quite a few horse and carriages and I had two different horses that came very near to me which is not my fault but the person who handles the horse. So beware if you go. There was no horse and carriages the last time I was there. By the time we left Mdina there was no time to go anywhere else and I was hoping to go to Bugibba. The driver did drop people off to near where they were staying. Then another day we went on the south route. I wanted to go to Marsaloxx but it took two hours to get there. We did get to see a lot of the island on the way. We had a meal in Marsaloxx as it was a lot cheaper. There was a nice market there too. We then went to Blue Grotto but by time we got there we had to rush to book to go on a boat trip around the caves. Beware if you have mobility issues then you will find it difficult to get down and up the steep slope towards the boat. As we got there late as we did not realize that it was going to take so long to get from St Julians to Marsaloxx, the person who ran the board rushed the tour. We still enjoyed it but it would have been better if we got there earlier. This is ok for seeing towns and villages that you would not see if you are in a car as you would not know a good route to go. We would have liked to have gone to other places but you are on a time restraint. We should have been told by the person who sold us the tour, what to expect and not expect us to find out things like like looking for facilities and where to eat and drink at San anton gardens

There's nothing wrong with the service itself, but I wasn't impressed with the tour of Gozo island. The villages on the island are nothing special, the only things worth seeing are the town of Victoria and Ramla beach, two stops along the way.

Overall, a poor experience. Started from Valletta bus stop 20. Audio did not always correspond to the stops, we had to change buses but were not told this and were nearly left behind at Mdina. Both drivers were far from smooth with the bus lurching. Staff not very friendly or helpful. Buses were old and tired. Saw some of the island, but not recommended. Finally not told that we could not stay on the bus to disembark from where we started in Valletta.

Only having a day on Gozo we wanted to see as much as the island as we possibly could and this form of transport ticked the box. The bus is waiting directly outside the ferry terminal and so takes all the hassle out of sight seeing. As with these buses, you get earbuds which tells you all about the sights you are seeing so makes the tour educational as well as great. We chose to get off at the artisan village, where he had a great meal and lovely look around the handcraft shops. The buses area round every 45 mins so we chose to spend 1.5 hours in the Artisan village which suited us. The roads are very narrow and you appreciate the driving skills of the driver as they negotiate around the slim streets of this beautiful island.

I booked before reading the reviews! I think the issue is that they try to visit too many locations and because they only pickup every hour, you find that you can realistically only visit 2-3 spots. On our first day, we had to skip all sites on the northern route to spend some time at Mdina. The second spot was Golden Sands which was just packed so we really didnt want to stay for an hour but because there's a change of schedule around lunchtime we ended up having to stay 1hr 30mins. The pickup spots are fine once your on the bus as you know where you got off, but there is a lack of signage so when you join for the first time, you're a bit unsure if you're in the right place. On our second day, we visitted just two sites in the southern tour and as we'd already been driven through St Julians and the rest of the east coast, there was no point doing a 3hr journey in midday sun to get back to Senglea so we just grabbed a cab back. Three of the buses we used had no audio in our seat and when there was audio, it was often out of sync with your location. My advice, hire a car or pick 2-3 sites to visit per day and just pay for taxi's to take you! When we cut short day 2, it only cost us 12euro to get back from The Blue Grotto to Senglea.

Anthony was great in advising us to getting a ticket and where from as we had a dog and we were worried we couldn’t take them (all the other drivers were great that we met)!

The buses were frequent but in need of repair, unless you were upstairs there was no aircon or air which was difficult in the heat. The stops were interesting we particularly enjoyed the inland see and the rock climbing and paddling you could do there especially my teenager. The guide was good but very out of time often 5/10 mins early or late so you missed what you were looking out for which was a shame but not completely useless.

One of the dullest tours I have been on. Malta has so much more to offer than the tour shows. Took ages going around different hotels snd stopping there and almost completely skipping the beautiful Valletta. Very little information about historical places, basically, if you wish to sit in the heat for 3.5 hours staring at barren landscape or packed up average hotels - this is the tour. More wise option - take direct taxi to the place you want to see. Mdina is lovely.
